Hey girls!! Today I am going to review a day cream. Actually this day cream was a part of the New Pond’s Firm and Lift range that consist of a day cream, eye cream and a neck lifting serum. All these products are used by my mother. Anyways, she is the one who uses most of my anti aging and wrinkle preventing or treating products.  :D

Experience with Pond’s Firm and Lift Face and Neck Lifting Day Cream

This cream comes in a very regular ponds packaging the heavy glass jar with a notched cap. I like the packaging but only dread what if I drop it, it happened with me most of the times and actually I do point this out whenever I see a glass packaging but glad that this glass container is quite thick so as to bear the damage anyways. The cream is a thick slightly pinkish cream as you may have seen with other pond’s age miracle day and night cream, I felt that the texture is almost like that and also the characteristic slippery feel to it. It feels satiny when applied and fingers would literally glide when the cream it blended and rubbed over the face.

My mum would apply this product in the morning after she has washed her face. She felt that the cream gives proper nourishment to the skin and the skin doesn’t feel dry or stretchy after suing this else she has got dry skin. For oily skin the cream can be slightly greasy at first but gets okay after sometime and you can also adjust the quantity sued. The SPF in the cream is good for everyday sue and she can skip using the sunscreen if she likes as SPF 30 is adequate. She also says that she felt the skin gets stretchy after 5-6 hours when the weather gets dry or cold. Like when she was using this in mid January she stated this and now that it’s been early march she doesn’t felt that stretchiness even after the entire day. Having said that I feel that people with oily skin or rather very oily skin will not find this suitable especially in hot summers. I also felt that at times this gives slight white cast as well which will require thorough blending.

Now, when it comes to skin firming and lifting she has seen only the skin texture improvement so far and the cream is just about to get finished so, I am not sure if that will do that or not but as a preventive measure the cream can be sued by the dry skinned types.

Not much difference was visible as per the firming point of view may be with few more months but not much was seen after using it for 4-5 weeks.

Pond’s Firm and Lift Face and Neck Lifting Day Cream is a decent cream for making the skin radiant and glowing. The texture is good for dry skin in all seasons and for oily skin in winters. This may be a good preventive measure for aging prevention but for the existing lines and wrinkles not much difference was seen.
