Philips Satinelle Epilator BRE210/00 Review

Hi girls,
All of us would like to flaunt the smoother and softer looking skin. Right? Unwanted hair on the arms, legs is the last thing that many of us find really annoying to deal with unless you consider laser session for permanent hair removal. I am someone who mostly likes to shave but the only problem is that that needs to be done that every 2-3 days else there can be stubble you know. No pokey, Pokey yeah!

For people who would like to get rid of the unwanted hair from the roots, epilator can be a savior. I have with me this Philips Satinelle Epilator BRE210/00. This is not my first brush up with epilators. I already have 2 of them so, using it was not a problem.
Just like the waxing, epilator will get rid of the hair strands from the roots by clutching the individual hair strands in the powerful vibration and rotating tweezers. This can be slightly painful but once you get adapt, the pain subsides.

How to use epilators:
To use epilators, just hold the epilator perpendicular to the skin and start to swipe in the opposite direction of hair growth. If you feel pain then putting some ice cubes will help. Ice numbs the skin temporarily and that will also tighten the skin hence the pain will be reduced. After using the epilator, you can apply some moisturizer on the skin so that there are no rashes or redness.

Product details:
Enjoy long lasting smoothness with Philips Satinelle Advanced epilator. Gently removes hairs at the root, as short as 0.5mm. Hairs grow back thinner and more slowly to enjoy up to 4 weeks hair-free skin. Use wet or dry.

Take on Philips Satinelle Epilator BRE210/00:
The epilator is very handy and comes with a charging cord, so, I would just charge and use. It lasts for 2-3 sessions for me. The color is pretty blue. I liked the design and it really does what an epilator needs to do. The head is a little bit curved which glides well against the contours of the body well. Price is okay for the number of tweezers in the head and the fact that this can be used wet as well. There is a shaver attachment also. Complimentary cap like attachments are also included.
Some Myths regarding epilators:
If you think epilators will make the hair thicker etc, then that is so not true, when the hair is uprooted from the base then it grows with the same thickness, density and to the same length therefore epilators in anyways won’t interfere with the hair thickness.
If your skin is extra sensitive then when the hair gets plucked from the roots then there can be some redness but that goes away after sometime.
Will the epilator disrupt my waxing cycle? Not really since this too uproots the hair strands the waxing cycle will be the same. In fact, epilators can uproot even less than the 0.5 mm of the hair which even waxing may not remove.
Moreover, when you don’t have sufficient time to visit the salon for waxing then you can get ready in a short notice. This is non messy and easy to do. This is completely waterproof hence can be used on the shower.
So, girls, would you like to try out the epilators?

  2. I have been using epilators since my college days. I bought one cos I was working part time and didn't always find time to go to the parlour. I continue using them. They are hassle free and easy to use.
