Few months ago L’Oreal Paris had launched this skin perfect range that has skin creams formulated according to the age group so that it becomes easier for us to choose which one would be suitable. Actually the age bracket thing should be considered since like in 20s we need the fairness whereas in 40s the main concern becomes the anti aging along with the whitening of dark patches etc.

I have already reviewed the other 2 creams from this range, now its time to review this L’Oreal Paris Skin Perfect Anti Aging and whitening cream for 40+. My mum who is in her mid 50s is using this cream so, the review is based on her views about the product. :)

Experience with L’Oreal Paris Skin Perfect Anti Aging and whitening cream for 40Plus

This cream too comes in a glass jar which is really heavy. I somehow get really careful while using such jars since I have already dropped a couple of them. It happens, slippery hands I have. :)

This cream is a thick light pale in color which has medium consistency. This is smooth and gets absorbed on the face really well. I thought my mum would say that this does not give adequate moisture to her dry skin but she said this was pretty okay for the dry skin and for 5-6 hours she does not feel as if the skin is getting dry. This cream also has SPF 21 PA+++ hence is primarily is a day cream which gives sun protection as well. 

After using this for more than 4 weeks now she says that this is good as a day cream and has lighten some dark patches on the skin, which I think is good. She said that the cream is ideal for dry mature skin for the day time. This has a texture when blended on the face feels like a satiny powder which she liked. Her face looks slightly even toned and glowy.

Affordable and this pack will last for 2 months since this has to be used for the day time

This gets absorbed well and gives a satiny finish

Gives decent hydration to the dry skin

Has SPF 21 PA+++ so good to give sun protection.

Gives noticeable results in even toning the skin

Skin looks glowy after using this

No reaction allergies etc.

Cons of L’Oreal Paris Skin Perfect Anti Aging and whitening cream for 40+

She has not seen skin whitening as such but slight evenness of the skin is noticed since some dark patches have been lightened.

Not much difference in the fine lines and wrinkles

L’Oreal Paris Skin Perfect Anti Aging and whitening cream for 40Plus is a decent cream for women over 40s who wants a day cream loaded with Sun protection. This adds a glow and easy to blend on the skin to give a nice satiny feel. 

This doesn’t leave the skin stretchy or dry hence ideal or even the dry skin. Most importantly as we age skin tends to get drier. There was no whitening as such but skin look mildly even toned, so all in all this is a decent day cream but don’t expect miraculous results like the fine line reduction and too much skin whitening etc.
