 If you will ask me one brand that I can recommend to the people with oily skin then that will be Za, and I am glad that they launched their products in India. Now that Za has completed more than an year in India, more and more products are being launched from their line. By the way, you can get their products online from Nykaa.com here. I liked their products as most of them are formulated in a way that they suit the oily skin, else being an oily skinned one I know how hard it becomes to get something that suits oily combination skin.

The recent product of theirs that I reviewed was Za perfect fit liquid foundation that I really liked for summer for my combination skin. Few weeks ago, I was being sent this new product called Za Total Hydration Amino Mineral Refreshing Gel by the name it suggest that it has a gel like formula that will be hydrating.

So, is this Za Total Hydration Amino Mineral Refreshing Gel worth trying and as good as most of their other products, let's check out beauties?

This product comes in a very beautiful baby pink packaging which is very travel friendly and convenient to carry around in a bag or purse. This has a shelf life of 3 years which is good. The packaging of this product is more like that for a tube foundation as this has a narrow tapered nozzle in front. I like such design as this is hygienic and very user friendly. I only wish the lid could have been more secure or would have been tighter as I am afraid that this will get unscrewed on its own if I carry this in my bag.

 

Za Total Hydration Amino Mineral Refreshing Gel feels like a translucent gel which is watery in nature. When I rub this on my skin, it feels as if I am blending some sought of gel and water based lotion. Within second this gets into the skin leaving it moisturized, supple but yet no visible signs like shine, greasiness etc. 

This is the feature of this product that makes it really good for oily skin. Just use this and your skin will feel moisturized and supple from within but outside there won’t be any stickiness or greasy residue. I loved this. I use this before using my foundation most of the times and the times when I feel my skin is behaving badly and there is some flakiness even though majority of my face parts are oily therefore, in such situations, a product like this can be very useful. 

This gives moisturization and suppleness but I also feel the amount of hydration that this gives won’t be sufficient if you have got very dry flaky skin. This will suit normal to oily combination skin better.

While I was reading the product details, I was came to know that this will not block the pores which is a great thing as this is targeted for the oily combination skin due to its texture and the amount of hydration this gives, but at the same time oily skin needs a product that should not clog the pores, therefor there this product fits the bill. 
A product that hydrates gently, adds a glow, leaves no residue and does not clogs the pores. Now, what else can one ask. Right? Price is decent as this spreads really well on the face. I take around a pea sized amount so, I think that should be okay.

Rating: 4 out of 5 (-1 for loose cap and wont be sufficiently moisturizing for dry skin types but I will contradict myself as either a product can suit dry skin or oily skin. I am glad its non greasy texture suits combination oily skin )
