love to define my brows as I feel that when the brows are in shape then they
accentuate the eye makeup and make the eyes super pretty. Eyebrows actually
frame the face well. So, this is the reason why I got this Sleek Brow kit which
I will review in this post. I love Sleek makeup especially their contour kit
and the blushes available in gorgeous colors. You should definitely check out
their blushes.

Review
of Sleek Brow kit Dark
The
Sleek Brow kit is available in 4 shades i.e Black, Extra Dark, Dark and Light.
According to my brow hair color, Extra
dark is the perfect color as black will make them look too dramatic even if I
just lightly swipe the powder. Therefore, I wanted to get the extra dark as
I have the typical Indian dark eyebrow hairs but guess what? At time of
ordering, by mistake I ordered dark instead of extra dark.

Honestly,
this color looks a bit off therefore I have to mix it up with a bit of black matte
eye brows powder from other brand which I couldn’t use since that was extremely
dark, so the combination of two is the ideal color for me. But I will definitely
get the Extra Dark Sleek Brow kit for me soon.
This
eyebrow kit from Sleek Makeup comes in an outer carton. The kit is made up of
sturdy plastic with great finishing. I like the overall look, it is classy and practical.
And yes, user friendly.
Inside
the kit, there is a decently sized mirror.
The bottom compartment is separated
into three, we have the two eye brow colors and the third one
makes place to keep the three tiny very helpful and handy eyebrow grooming
products like a mini tweezers, which I like as I do my own eyebrows, a mini
angled brush which is for shaping the outline of the brows and to fill in any
bald spots. The last tool is a mini blending brush which is a dome shaped flattened brush
which blends the powder nicely to minimize the harsh strokes for a natural
looking finish.

All
these for around 780 rupees is quite a deal that those of you who pays attention
to their eyebrows shouldn’t miss. By looking at the swatches you may feel that this will suit you
but if you have dark eyebrow hair go for extra dark one.
The
eyebrow colors are brown as you may see since I chose the Sleek Brow kit in
Dark, instead of extra dark. But the two eyebrow shades that the kit contains
are of two different formula. One is a brow wax and an eyebrow powder.

I
like to use the powder alone when I need a more natural looking look or just
when I am going for a casual day out while when I go for a more defined eye makeup,
I would rather apply the brow wax first, use the angled brush to blend it and then
use the brow powder to set it. This make it last for long.
For the rainy season, I
think I will only go with the brow wax from this kit as it will be waterproof
and will not drip like the brow powder. I can only imagine how horrible
that will look?
I
find this Sleek Brow kit to be very good to be carried in a bag and the tiny tweezers
is very handy for me as I have this habit of plucking off the stray hairs whenever
I spot them.

In Indian market, I have not seen any of our popular brands come
up with an eyebrow kit, I have seen the not so user friendly and good for
nothing eye pencils but not the proper kits. I wish that out popular brands in India
should come up with eyebrow kits and I am sure, they will be quite a hit as
soon as they are launched.

shade is a bit lighter for me but that was my mistake but the kit is a great to
have product)

I will highly recommend Sleek Brow kit to all of you girls and ladies who are
into eyebrow grooming and defining. Even if you aren’t, I will suggest at least
try shaping up your brow and you will see the results which you yourself will
love.
