Maybelline Cheeky Glow Blush Fresh Coral Review, Price Swatches, FOTD

Hi everyone! I will review Maybelline Cheeky Glow Blush in Fresh Coral. These blushes are good when some is on a search for an affordable matte blush. This blush is available in three shades in India like peachy sweetie, Fresh Coral and cinnamon. This is the last shade to be reviewed on my blog.

Price: Maybelline Cheeky Glow blushes are available for 275 Rupees. Earlier they were 225 INR, but now they have hiked the price.
This blush was a part of My Instaglam Box which you can buy here online from flipkart.

These Maybelline blushes are packed in cutesy looking round pans and the blushes appear more like baked blushes. This blush has a matte texture with very fine silver shimmer which is very fine and can be said as negligible, which makes this blush fall under the category of matte blushes only.
Fresh coral unlike the name is more like a medium pink. I wish it should have been slightly deeper though cinnamon looks more corally than this. This looks quite similar as that of the Peachy sweetie and since I have both of them, when I checked, they both looked similar in the pans. Once applied on the cheeks that whatsoever minor difference too wasn’t there.

Anyways, still the blush color is pretty and would suit most of the skin tones. On duskier complexions, it will appear pinkier. I think for duskier complexions, cinnamon will look the best.

Pigmentation is not much but for the price it is okay-ish. The good thing is that the blush has pigmentation that is buildable. Considering that they are powdery blushes, they may not last as long as their counterpart cream bushes. I find powder blushes better than the cream ones for my skin type though if you wish your powder blush should have more intensity and should also last a lot longer then there is a little trick that I learnt which actually makes this quite possible. You need to apply a tiny drop of light moisturiser on the cheeks and blend it like the way you blend the blush over the cheeks. Let the moisturiser gets absorbed fully and then layer the blush on your cheeks. The blush will be intense and would stick a lot longer.

Comparatively this Maybelline blush is low on staying span as compared with other powder blushes like Inglot, sleek etc. I like to use this blush when I wish to add a natural color without being over the top with my blush. It’s soft and subtle color is good for every day wear.

Take: Maybelline Cheeky Glow Blush in fresh coral is a pretty mid tone pink, everyday wear blush that adds a natural color on the face without looking too much. It's matte blush with an easy to blend satiny formula. Pigmentation is okay with low staying span which could have been better. Packaging is cute. Overall, price is reasonable. These blushes are perfect for beginners who are building their makeup kits or someone who needs affordable yet quality product. I will recommend it.
