Hey Everyone!!
I will review Faces Cosmetics Glam on Prime
Perfect Pressed Powder in the shade Beige which is 03. This is the recent
pressed powder in my stash and I have been using it a lot lately. I got this when I was invited to be a part of
the Faces Cosmetics Blogger’s event which also marked the launch of their
Ultime Pro lip crème.
Price: Faces Glam on Prime Perfect Pressed powder is for 599 rupees for 9
g. I have not seen these online as of yet though they can be purchased from the
Faces cosmetics counters.
Brand
says: “An ultra light and rich SPF formula with the
benefits of revolutionary screen tech technology. It mattifies the skin for a
smooth finish, gives a silky and velvety coverage and blends effortlessly. It
is enriched with anti oxidants, paraben free, non comedogenic and is
dermatologically tested.”

on Faces Glam on Prime Perfect Pressed Powder Beige
Faces cosmetics Glam on compact powder comes
in a combination of transparent and black plastic case with an inbuilt mirror
which is of good enough size to get a decent view of the face while I'm
touching up with this powder in the middle of the day. Packaging is okayish
though I preferred the earlier packaging where there was outer steel grey metallic
finish, that one looked classier than this. I find it a bit hard to open this
compact since it’s slightly tight, I don’t know if I am the only one out
who’s facing this problem while opening it.

The compact also comes with a puff applicator
which is not like the regular sponge applicators but the one that we have seen
accompanied with a lot of compacts recently. It is lined by a thick spongy back with a white
softer spongy layer.
These Faces cosmetics Glam on Prime Perfect
Pressed Powder comes in 5 shades like they have with other faces cosmetics compacts range i.e. Ivory, Natural, Beige and so on. The powder doesn’t bear any detectable scent which is
good, lesser the fragrance better it is.

All these days, I was hooked on to my
Revlon pressed powder which catered to my needs appropriately due to which I haven’t looked
elsewhere but while testing this compact for the review, I realized that it is far better and would
definitely make me ditch the Revlon one.
The powder
is very fine, light weight and silky. You might have come across some heavy
talc like powders/compacts those when applied will give a heavy feeling but as
this powder is very light and fine. It blends really well, absorbs the oils efficiently
and yet doesn’t feel heavy or cakey even if I have used it a couple of times
throughout the day. This feature makes me say that this Faces Glam on Prime
Perfect Pressed Powder is an ideal and budget compact for oily to combination
skin. For 599 Rupees and 9 g of product will last really long which makes it an
affordable buy.

Another feature which I liked about this
Faces compact Powder is that it when dabbed on to the pores, it will make them
look less visible as the fine powder seamless goes into the pores
and fills them up, making the pores lesser visible.
One thing I was concerned that by doing so, the pores get blocked with the powder but the
good thing is that the powder is non comedogenic due to which it is easily
removed with the help of a cleanser or makeup remover with no blackheads, whiteheads
or other skin problems to be seen later on.

Shade selection is okay for fair to medium
skin
Cons
of Faces Glam on Prime Perfect Pressed Powder
Packaging is okay-ish
More shades should have been there for dusky

Rating: 4.5 out of 5
Take: Faces cosmetic Glam on Prime
Perfect Pressed powder is affordable, light weight, very easy to blend and
doesn’t feel heavy at all. I will recommend this pressed powder to oily to
combination skinned girls since we tend to use compacts a lot frequently for
touch ups as compared with the dry to normal skinned ones. Having said that,
this powder is not a drying powder therefore, can be used even if your skin
type is dry to normal.
