Omved Hair Care kit Review

Omved Hair Care kit Review

Hey everyone!
Sorry for being MIA for the past two days, actually my laptop crashed therefore, it took me a while to resume working on my blog. Today, I will be reviewing Omved Hair care kit. The kit is for treating dandruff and troubled scalp like itching, flakiness etc. This hair care kit consists of 4 products:
Shampoo
Conditioner
Hair pack
Hair oil
I don’t have dandruff so, I gave it to my brother who has some flakiness except for the hair pack and  hair oil which I had used.
Do check out our other blog Blushing Indian Bride

Price: It is priced at 790 rupees. Every product is 30 ml while the pack is 25 g.
The kit comes in a cute looking jute bag in glass bottles which I find not so travel friendly. The bottles have loose lids due to which the hair oil leaked but due to the outer plastic sheet wrapping the bottle, it didn’t mess around with the other products in the kit.

Shampoo: It has a typical herbal hair oil kind of fragrance. It has Aloe Vera amla extracts, Tea tree, reetha, shikakai, brahmi extracts to boost up its efficiency. The shampoo is a clear gel with slightly runny consistency that lather adequately and cleanses the scalp. It can remove the dandruff in the first wash and there is this slight cooling sensation on the scalp which is soothing.
After the hair gets dried it doesn’t dry out the hair like some of the dandruff shampoos may do. Overall, it was quite good to control dandruff. This tiny bottle in the kit will last for around 5 washes though depend on the hair length.

Conditioner: It’s a thick creamy white with very strong fragrance. It helped further to ensure that the hair aren’t dried up after the wash. Its strong fragrance was a concern for my brother but still he finds it okay since it aids in getting softer hair.
Hair oil: The hair oil is named as Sukeshant keram hair oil, smells like coffee scrub though it has nothing to do with that. It has coconut oil with other herbs. It claims to control dandruff and itchy, flaky scalp. I have used this and liked that it makes hair shiny and quite bouncy even though it targets dandruff which was not my primary concern here. I find it good to try.

Hair pack: The hair pack claims to prevent hair fall, clears dandruff and cleanses the scalp. It is dried powder with more than a dozen herbs which you may see in the pictures. It smells like some balm very strong. It is supposed to mix with either water or yoghurt and apply on the hair and scalp. This pack can be used twice. I have used this with water and it makes a paste which I kept slightly runny so as to let it spread nicely on the hair. I kept it for 20- 25 minutes and rinsed off. It conditions the hair and I could feel that the hair were smooth and shiny though I did see some frizz that was gone after the brushing.

Rating: 4 out of 5

I will recommend this kit to those of you who have dandruff dry itchy scalp and needs a herbal solution. It is slightly pricey for the miniature sized bottles but works pretty decent.
PR sample: Review is honest
