Hey
everyone!!
I will
review another product from Za by Shiseido True white range and this is Za’s True
white day protector with SPF 26. I am still using Za true white day cream and that is doing really well so far for me.
No clogged pores, greasiness etc so, when I got this, I didn’t mind ditching
the day cream for a couple of days to try out this day protector mainly because
it has the SPF.
Price: This cream s priced in India at 799 Rupees for 35g tube
Brand claims “A daytime moisturizer
that blocks UV rays, helps diminish spots and acne marks. Smooth an appropriate
amount evenly over the face. Apply before foundation for a more beautiful
finish.”
Views: Za True white day protector
comes in a really long travel friendly tube. The cream doesn’t have any significant
smell but its texture reminds me of whipped milk cream, mousse like, slightly
thick yet light weight. While I apply it, it goes on really nicely and feels
slightly greasy at first but after allotting it a couple of minutes, stickiness will just
vanish. Then, it hardly feels as if I
have used anything at all.
So far, my
first impression was that it would be a good moisturizer that is non greasy,
has SPF 26 and is very light weight. A little bit is enough for the entire
face.

But wait!
Till here, I was just feeling this product on my face. I didn’t see the mirror.
But, when I did see my face in the mirror. I saw some white cast and ashyness
around certain areas, like forehead, cheeks etc or the places where it was not
blended properly. I am quite sure it was due to the sunscreen in it. So, I had
to blend it again and from there on, I realized that this product may be light
weight and non greasy but blending is the key!
It wasn’t heavy
or greasy indoors but when I was out in the sun, there was some sweating on my
face that I had previously experienced with some other creamy/ lotion based
sunscreens. Therefore, I use gel sunscreens that keep my skin matte and doesn’t
make me sweat even in the sun.
It neither break
me out as of yet nor has given me any more whiteheads.

To be
honest, I liked Za True white day cream more than this as that was hydrating yet non
sticky for my combination skin just like this but there was no white cast thing
unlike this. I am still using this day protector alternating between the day
cream.
Pros of Za True White Day Protector
Packaging
Light weight
SPF 26
Non greasy
No breakouts
so far for me
Hydrates
Will suit
oily to normal skin
Cons of Za True White Day Protector
Price
Blending is
the key else it can give white cast
Will not be
very hydrating for dry skin
Non greasy
but makes me sweat in the sun like the other creamy sunscreens
Rating: 3 out of 5
Take: Za True white day protector with SPF 26 is
good as a sunscreen and a moisturizer combined that can give some brightness to
the skin. It has SPF 26 that protects the skin from UV rays and its light weight, non
greasy formula will suit normal to oily skin though I still prefer Za true white day cream over this reason
being it makes me sweat. I would like to use this
when I am indoors mostly!
PR Sample though the review is honest as always!!
