Red carpet
Makeup look
Hey girls!!
I am back!!! I was actually on a tiny break from the
virtual world and blogosphere, just to relax for a while and the internet
connectivity has given me that much needed break. It isn’t up yet but I am on
my phone so that will do for now though I am afraid, I may not be able to visit
blogs today as I have reply to all those pending lovely comments first. :D
I will share
this look today that I have done using the L'Or
Lumière Cannes Collection. If you remember, I have posted a press Release
about this collection which consists:
5 new shades
of Gel Matic Eyeliner : http://bit.ly/OIGMT01
12 new
luscious shades of Moist Mat : http://bit.ly/OIGMT02
I got Gel Matic
liner in Brown and Moist matte lipstick in Glamour Fuchsia, using which I
created this first look, very soft and subtle and then the second look which
kind of gravitates towards dramatic, I would say!!. By the way, I kept the dress
same, it’s just that hair and makeup that are different to see how it’s going
to come up!
Anyways, let’s
get into the steps as how I did this first Red Carpet Makeup look.
I started
with applying silicone based primer that can take care of some
tiny pores on my T zone that tends to be oilier than the rest of the face and also
it will help make the skin appear smoother. After that my next step would be to
use a foundation, I chose L’Oreal True Match mineral foundation and applied just
on the places, I need the coverage. I contoured the cheekbones with a contouring
kit, followed by a pink blush with light hand.

Eye:
I filled in my brows and
then taking my matte medium brown, I defined my crease, used the Gel Matic
eyeliner in Brown on the upper lash line. Not a very bold thick line though! Applied
some of the matte brown eye shadow on the lower lid as well, completed with
some coats of mascara.
Lips:
For the lips, I have used
the Moist MAT Lipstick in Glamour Fuchsia as a stain as in its full glory it
appear more purple on me which I wanted to sport for the next look, hence used
that just as a stain which kind of looks more pink than purple now. I am liking
it a lot as a stain, Wore it yesterday and it looked really nice!

Moving on
with the second look:
Here I
started with the same primer and foundation and contoured the cheekbones. For
the blush I‘ve used a peachy pink one.
Eyes:
I primed my
eyes, then I have used a pink plumy eyeshadow on the crease and blended it all
over the crease. On the lids, I applied a plum eye shadow and the same Gel Matic
eyeliner to draw a very thick line going till the crease. I used the same plum shadow
on the lower lashline and the same eyeliner on the waterline and slightly below
the waterline and smudged it for a smokey kind of look!
Lips:
For the lips
I am wearing L’Oreal Paris Moist MAT lipstick in Glamour Pink in its full
intensity. It’s a color that has the perfect balance of purple and pink. Moist Mat Lipsticks are available here

Moist mat Lipstick has a matte finish yet is very hydrating and light on the lips, not to forget it's alluring luxurious packaging.
So, these were my two looks for the Red carpet using L'Or Lumière Cannes Collection.

Please excuse my uneven skin as I get tiny bumps in summers quite often! :P
