Hi Everyone!
I will review Matrix Biolage Deep Smoothing Serum in this post. If your hair happens to get tangled and knotty
after you’ve had shampoo then serums serve as a savior. They claim to combat
frizz and also add some shine. I have reviewed Livon hair serum. So, let’s see if
it manages to fare as it claims or it’s just another product in the market.
Brand Claims: “MatrixBiolage Deep Smoothing Hair Serum smoothens frizzy, dry and unruly hair. A fusion of
grapeseed oils and avocado oils creates an envelope that seals the hair to
control frizz. Hair stays shiny, nourished and manageable all day”

Price: It is priced
at 260 Rupees for 100 ml bottle and
is available Here
Views: Matrix Biolage Deep Smoothing Serum comes in
a regular see through bottle with a flip top cap that may not be travel
friendly as mine leaked once in my bag while I was rushing in the morning, so,
thought I will put it on once my hair gets air dried but when I took it out, I
realized it leaked though wasn’t as messy but definitely not a travel friendly
bottle I would say! In fact most of the flip top ones aren’t.
The serum is a transparent water like in appearance
and feels exactly like Livon which is amongst the inexpensive hair serums in India.
I take around half a teaspoonful of quantity for
my medium length hair. Most of the times, I would use this when my hair are still
in semi dried state as that way, it helps the comb glide well while brushing or
finger combing due to which there is lesser hair breakage. Or at times, I would
go for it, when I want some sheen to my hair, like before the makeup photo
shoots where it adds that subtle sheen when the camera flash hits. It doesn’t
feel that it weighs down my hair even if I take more than the usual quantity.
It is my second bottle of this Serum.

When I say it’s my second bottle that doesn’t
mean it is THE product. No, It is good as a serum but honestly, It is exactly
like Livon Silky potion hair serum that I had used long ago. Literally no significant
difference that I should mention here. Therefore, even if you would like to go for
Livon, then Go ahead, I find both of them similar. If you will compare the
prices then too they are quite similar.
It controls frizz to some extent only. I have
noticed that the moment I apply it, hair would be less frizzy but after some
time the frizz comes back. Price for
this 100 ml bottle is okay as it will last long since the quantity you’ll take
is less.
If you have normal hair it will work good while
for very dry hair you would have to increase the quantity so that it could work
decently but it will not work the same it does on normal hair. You can understand,
dry hair needs something extra nourishing and conditioning!
Pros of Matrix

Con of Matrix
Biolage Deep Smoothing Serum

normal
Rating: 4 out of 5
Take: Matrix Biolage Deep Smoothing Serum is an
inexpensive serum that can make hair softer and less tangled thereby lesser
hair breakage while combing! It’s formula gives sheen to the hair without
weighing them down. It is a decent product that works very similar to Livon so,
even if you’re going for that you’re not loosing anything but do try it once if
you’re looking for a budget friendly hair serum.
It may not work as effectively
on dry hair, you may have to look for some other options or can still try it to see
if it works for your dry hair!
I use conditioner on regular basis. But I am fed up with using hair oil after wash. What is the best option for me?
