Faces Glam On Lip Gloss Zing Pink Review, Price and Swatches

I admit, I have never been a lip gloss lover but lately I have realized, my opinion gradually changing about them. Now I can say, yes I do like some of them and the credit goes to this product here that I will be reviewing in this post. Few days, ago, I posted about the Faces cosmetics new launch, Glam on Lip glosses. I have got two of these and in this post I will swatch Zing Pink. I really liked the name by the way!

Price: Glam on Lip glosses are priced at 549 rupees for 7.5 ml and are available in 8 shades.

Views on the product:  Faces Glam On Lip Glosses are packed as a rectangular long tube with a gold mirror finished cap with the shade name given at the bottom and one of its sides bears gold lettering that says the brand name. I really liked the packaging it looks appealing and classy! Beautiful!!

The wand has a slanted top which I personally like as it helps apply the gloss on the upper lip quite easily and evenly. It smells like vanilla and chocolate though moderately nothing too overpowering.

Faces Glam On Lip Gloss in Zing Pink is a shade that can be described as slightly neony peachy orange with hues of pink. Yes, that’s what I would describe it. It’s a color that bears the perfect balance between the cool tones and warm tones due to which it will instantly brighten up the face, very summer appropriate with its neony hues and also with its perfect warmth it will not wash out any complexion. It is just an amazing color! In the FOTD pictures you may not see that it’s as vibrant but in person it does show up. It’s a color that I will recommend to everyone.

Now coming back to the actual product. The gloss is matte with a medium consistency, a very smooth texture to go with it. It glides smoothly and doesn’t look patchy even if it fades or gets wiped off. You can imagine it as a liquid matte lipstick that has been diluted slightly and filled in a tube.

Pigmentation is very good for a gloss. As I said, it has a medium constancy due to which 2-3 swipes are enough for a good color payoff.  Even if you’ve pigmented lips then too this can be sported alone and has the potential to cover the lip pigmentation decently as it isn’t that sheer.

Since it’s a gloss, its stay span isn’t much. Moreover, it won’t be fair to compare with that of lipsticks but when compared with some sheer lipsticks like Lotus herbals Carnation it performs well. I have used this a couple of times now and I noticed that on an average it stays for around 2-3 hours after which I need to reapply or if I eat something in between then it gets wiped off fast from the center of the lips leaving rosy tint behind.

It’s a gloss therefore, you can expect slight bleeding. Faces Glam On Lip Gloss are priced at 549 bucks which I will say totally justifies the price, also the quantity that you’re getting. Its 7.5 ml and considering that you are bound to use lip gloss frequently for touch ups due to their staying power, quantity given is a thumbs up.

Take: Faces Glam On Lip Gloss in Zing pink is a beautiful peachy orangey pink color that will suit most of the skin tones. It has the capability to instantly brighten up the face. Price for the quantity is good. It has a good pigmentation, beautiful texture and finish. If not in full intensity, it can also be worn as a colored balm by swiping just once allowing it to give a rosy peachy color which looks very natural. I really like this color and the gloss itself!
