Street Wear Stay On Eyeliner Emerald Review
Hey there!
When one uses the term “emerald” it immediately transports the listener to regal times of resplendence and decadence. The word is so evocative that it is one of my favorite colours and gem stones, which is more than a little odd. :p Anyway, the product I am now going to review was an impulse purchase that I picked up only because the colour was so enchanting and that I couldn’t bring myself to search for reviews for this Street Wear Eyeliner Emerald Review which could potentially dissuade me from buying this precious eyeliner.

Price : 350INR for 0.35 g

Street Wear Stay On Eyeliner Emerald Review

About Street Wear: Street Wear, a young, urban beauty brand offers a range of trendy and innovative products in lip, nail, face and eye categories. The color extravaganza continues with Street Wear introducing collection of trendy, fashionable and affordable range of color cosmetics.

My take on the Street Wear Stay on Eyeliner: Emerald is one of those colours that can be used in a variety of eye makeup looks, ranging from traditional to modern and yet it’ll look perfectly in place each time due to the sheer opulence of the shade.
This eyeliner is similarly coloured, the emerald green is very rich and vibrantly satin like. I use it in a multitude of ways but my undoubted favourite is when I use it on my lower lashline over a black eyeliner keeping my upper lids lined thinly, this look works with a pretty lehenga as well as it does with a cutout dress. This lasts upto 7-8 hours on my lower lashline and 4-5 hours on my oily lids, this longevity is improved tremendously when swatched over my trusty e.l.f. mineral primer. I have never used it on my waterline because I am wary of using cosmetics that are not ophthalmologically tested, on it directly since I have sensitive eyes.

The liner is retractable so you are sure to save the wastage that one must endure while sharpening an eyeliner, but this also reduces the hygiene of an eyeliner so it’s a double edged sword. While the packaging isn’t exactly opulent, the emerald lid makes it easy to find in my vanity and is sturdily travel safe to boot.

The liner is also waterproof which definitely helps its longevity, but makes it’s complete removal a pain the rear end! The only actual con of this eyeliner is it’s slightly waxy texture that releases pigment easily enough but can also tug on the delicate eye region, thereby making it a bit of a problem. But seeing as this liner can boast of almost single stroke opacity it isn’t too bad to run on your eye area 1-2 times.
