Colorbar Take Me As I Am in Orchid Pink : Review & Swatch
Hello Everyone!
I’ll be reviewing one of the semi-matte lip colors by the Colorbar Take Me As I Am range and it’s in the shade Orchid Pink. I never had any Jumbo lip crayon
but always wanted to have one out of the popular brands like Revlon, Lakme absolute,
Bourjois, Maxfactor, Clinique, Colorbar etc. When I got this as a gift, I was amazed
that how could a guy buy such a beautiful bright pink lip color for his
girlfriend!! And I being a girl who loves to sport every color whether its light or bright like this.
Price: Rupees 800 for this jumbo chubby pencil.

Ingredients: See the images
Packaging: Colorbar has similar silver covers for all its products and as like
others this product (Take Me As I Am) also comes in a silver cover. It comes in
a black body with a black plastic cap and the complimentary sharpener also
comes in silver packing where its actual color is black.
Thoughts on the product: Orchid pink is a Fuchsia pink or pink with blue undertone which you must have
seen sported by many Indian and Hollywood celebrities. It is a
bright pink lip color comes in a wooden jumbo pencil form with a free
sharpener. Orchid pink will go well with medium to fair skin tone as it brighten ups the
whole face because of its bright color. I wore it at a relative’s marriage for the first time and I was
conscious about the wearing time as I was not carrying any handbag or clutch
with me so couldn’t touch up, once it gets faded after I had my dinner. After dinner
I asked my sister about the lip color if it’s there?? And she replied ‘it’s
there’ but I was still not sure about it because haven’t seen it myself. When
we got back home the first thing I did was to ran towards the big mirror and checked my
lipstick. Guess what? I was so happy that it was there which shows its great staying power.

Cons of Colorbar Take Me As I Am Lipcolor:
Expensive
Wood and Wax mixed
smell(which probably no one would notice but I personally don’t like it)
Transfers a bit (because if
its creamy matte texture)
Rating: 4 out 5
Take: I would say I love this product not because I got
it as a gift but its texture, formula, pigmentation and staying power is quite commendable. As, I love to explore new variants of
lipsticks. I am planning to get some more shades from the range and would
highly recommend it to all, if you don't mind the price.
