As I always say, use Fairness cream to get rid of the tanning and to use them as decent day creams, but do not fall into the traps of those lightening and whitening things.
Anyways, I will review Clean and Clear fairness cream in this post. I actually bought this two months ago, why I have no idea! No, wait my olay fairness day cream got over and I thought I should try some other within the same category.
Price: Clean and clear cream is priced at 65 rupees for 20 grams and 120 for 40 grams
Ingredients: Water, Propylene Glycol, Dimethicone, Titanium Dioxide (and) Dimethicone (and) Alumina, Potassium Cetyl Phosphate, Sodium Acrylate/Sodium Acryloyldimethyl Taurate Copolymer (and) Isohexadecane (and) Polysorbate 80, Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate, Stearic Acid, C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate, Cetyl Alcohol, dicaprylyl Carbonate, Niacinamide, Aluminium Starch Octenylsuccinate, Phenoxyethanol, Salicylic Acid, Titanium Dioxide (and) Mica, Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane, Sodium Hydroxide, Fragrance, Oryza Sativa (Rice) Extract, Methylisothiazolinone (and) Polyaminopropyl Biguanide, Carbomer, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Disodium EDTA, Tocopheryl Acetate, Prunus Cerasus (Bitter Cherry) Fruit Extract, Ascorbyl Glucoside, CI 17200
Experience: Clean and clear fairness cream comes in a regular tube packaging that has a pink and blue printed design with a transparent white cap.
The cream has a mild smell/fragrance which is okay, nothing that can give you headache. The consistency is medium and smooth not very thick like ponds white beauty, fair and lovely etc.
While I try to blend it, I noticed that it gets blend nicely but their is a very ugly white cast that stays on the face. So, if you are fair then obviously it will not be visible but if you are dusky or even medium skinned then it will give a whitecast, which will not go away even after blending it. This is the biggest drawback of this cream.
This white cast may be due to the Rice extracts in it, I think. anyways, after applying it, it feels that the skin is moisturised and is a bit greasy, if you have oily skin.
I am really confused as in to whom this product will suit, It makes skin greasy so not for oily skin for sure but then if not blended well, there would be whitecast.
It says that it will not clog pores but I know it will since, I used it for a couple of days as the white cast was not visible on me much, it made a few whiteheads to erupt on my nose.
Honestly, after this I will not recommend this clean and clear fairness cream to anyone!
