In winters, My lips just shouts for lip balms. They are so damn dry!! I can't even imagine surving the season without them. Baby lips have been one of my favorite and i have this habit of putting a lip balm in my evey bag and bedside, drawers etc. so that I may reach them when I need! Does that sound crazy!! Hope not!!
I will review a lip balm from NYX cosmetics today, it isn't a balm but rather something in between a balm and a lipstick which makes it quite amazing!
I got this along with my other NYX products haul a couple of months ago! Recently Medplusbeauty was giving 50 % off on Nyx products but the brighter shades were already sold out, only the dark and beige kinda shades were left that doesn't suit my taste at all or in other words I should say, they don't suit me. Lighter shades wash me out and make me look sick and gloomy!
This Nyx color lip balm is named as "thank you" Interestingly they have named these shades as thank you only though in different languages. there's one called Sukriya which is a reddish color. I really wanna have that.

Experience- Like the most of the lip balms, this too comes in a retractable tube packaging. I like the black outer casing. Its a bit different than the regular colorful packagings. Looks good to me!
It smells amazing, just like candies or bubblegum moreover its color as well resembles strawbbery/ bubble gum. Its a gorgeous beautiful bubblegummy pink.The kind of color that gives a natural pink tint to the lips.
It isn't too creamy even though it belongs to the lip balm category but the color that it gives makes it more than the normal colored lip balm. In other lip balms you may have noticed sheer glossy color but it gives a color which is quite opaque than those lip balms. It has a formula which glides so smoothly on my lips and the formula is matte. therefore, it will give you color and the moisture but still looking matte. Checkout the swatches. it isn't glossy.
It stays on my lips for around 2 hours and if I have meals in between then its gone without leaving any stains. After 2 hours at most it get wipes off and my lips get all dry again, wanting me to reapply the balm. But still, its light weight formula and great color pay off makes it a hit for me, not to forget the price it comes at!
I just swipe it lightly once to have that naturally healthy pink lips. It seems like a lip cream in the form of tube but slightly low on color pay off.
It can be a great choice for those of you who wish to have some color on the lips and some moisture at the same time. I used it here in this tutorial with some gloss.
