Dove Elixir Hibiscus and Argan Hair Oil Review

Dove elixir Hibiscus and Argan oil

Hey Girls!!
I have heard a lot about Argan oil and how it does wonders for hair. If you follow my blog regularly you might be aware about the Hair spa contest that we did a month ago and the Dove elixir hail oils. I will review Dove Elixir Hibiscus and Argan oil, I have already reviewed Rose and almond oil. By the way, the packaging does a lot for a product, I mean when you see a product in an enticing pack then automatically, we have notions that it will be a great product and this is the main reason brands are coming up with tempting packaging. This dove Elixir hair oil is too one such product when it comes to packaging. It comes in a unique pump pack, unique because hair oil in a pump pack is something that is new to me. I think for you too.

Price of Dove elixir Hibiscus and Argan oil- 185 for 90 ml

Experience- In spite of me being a fan of pump packs, I am not too keen for this Dove Elixir hair oil packaging at least as the tiny transparent cap gets stuck with the pump head and also I am afraid that while pressing it I may not drop it. I am saying it as the pump is tight at times.
Anyways, enough of this pump thing!! Moving on to the actual product!
Dove claims Dove elixir Hibiscus and Argan oil is for nourished shine. I was really interested in using this Argan oil variant just beacuse of the Argan oil in it. Argan oil prevents splits neds and makes hair shiny. It can be a great hair nourisher.
I was checking the other day about Soulflower Argan oil and realized that the 30 ml tiny bottle was for around 800 bucks. I was quite surprised how come Dove is cheaper and that too for 90 ml. then, realized that it has mineral oil, vegetable oil, hibiscus oil and other oils along with Argan oil.

I have been using it for the past one month along with hair oil from some other brands. I only use this one at night before I shampoo with massaging the scalp. While washing it off the next day, it gets rinsed off very easily and doesn't require too much of my Matrix shampoo.
It does makes hair silkier and shiny. I couldn't figure out exact difference between this hibiscus and Argan oil variant and the one with Rose & Almond oil except for the fact that the former does makes my hair shiny which was the claim the brand made for this product anyways.

If you will ask me, I will pick this up. Reason being, it has made my hair silkier and shinier.
Just a tip here. If you face that your hair is falling more when you massaging hair oil in your scalp which is due to tugging and pulling of the hair. In that case, try to apply oil only on the hair not on the scalp, that way your hair will have the benefit of oiling and hair will not fall while massaging.
