Makeup look for Indian traditional wear

Makeup look for Indian traditional wear

Hi everyone!!

Diwali festivities have begun and are in full swing. You all must be shopping and shopping and preparations would be already in progress.
I did this Indian traditional wear makeup look, which I will be sharing today.

This look is very soft and appropriate to pair up with our Indian wear.

For the eyes- I have used a medium gold eye shadow on the lid and then a matte brown color on the crease. I lined my eyes with an eyeliner and kept the thickness medium and very slight baby wing at the outer corners. Used mascara are eye makeup is done. To add a more glamorous effect you can add a silver eye shadow on the brow bone, which I skipped for this look.

Face- I applied Oriflame primer and then Maybelline dream liquid mousse foundation over it very lightly as it then can look too heavy, which I avoid. I set my makeup with Rimmel London Stay matte compact.

On the lips- I have used Lakme 425 lipstick and then Lotus herbals carnation, to get the  color that you see in the pictures. It’s more like a brick color. I applied some clear gloss over it to make it shine a bit and look glossy.

Cheeks- I have used bronzer and did some contouring on the cheeks a jawline.
That’s’ it, my look is completed.

I kept the eyes very soft and lips too aren’t too bold and it’s a look that I am sure that will look good with all the skin tones reason being the rusty warm color which looks good with all the skin tones and goes with most of the dresses that we wear during this festival. The eyes which are more towards the gold brown with liner, will not make it too heavy even if anyone isn’t a fan of too much on the eyes.

And Happy Diwali in advance my friends!!!
Enjoy and Be Safe!!

I don't use waterproof foundation as it can clog my pores and then my skin breaks out though the Maybelline dream liquid mousse is decently waterproof.
