Dove split end rescue shampoo and conditioner Review

Dove split end rescue shampoo and conditioner Review

Hello everyone!!

My most preferred shampoo is from Dove as it is one of those shampoos that I have used for the longest time at a stretch, though I have also ditched it in order to try some other brands that keeps on luring me like Tresemme shampoos when it was launched in India, sunsilk, pantene etc to name a few but even after trying other, I will come back to this brand.
I have been using their hairfall rescue for quite a long time (now, back to it again, review pending) and then this Dove split end rescue shampoo and conditioner.

I haven’t reviewed it yet although the products has been used and finished long ago:D so today will be apt to review these  Dove Split end rescue shampoo and conditioner. Now, this range claims to give you up to 4 times lesser splits end.
I have couple of them which I assume are due to heat treatment that I have had without using any heat protectants. May be!!

Anyways, Let’s start with the Dove shampoo first.

Dove Splits end rescue shampoo: It resembles just like the hair fall rescue shampoo in smell, color, texture etc. Quite thick and little bit can lather adequately and cleans the scalp. I massage the shampoo for some time and then rinse, it isn’t too hard to get off from your hair as it doesn’t lather excessively that you will need a lot of water. I like it just like the other variants but then I would like to mention one thing here that I could not find any significant or noticeable difference in this shampoo and the one I have used for hairfall. They both did the same thing. I mean made may hair softer and cleaned properly with lesser tangles (which in anyways I don’t comb my hair at all the day I wash them. It’s strange but when they are dried, I don’t need combing.. Does it?? :D).
This shampoo can work for every hair type and if you ignore the split end rescue claim than it is indeed is a decent and good shampoo to try. They have given the complete list of the ingredients which you can check if interested!!

Rating for Dove split end rescue shampoo- 3.75 out of 5

Let’s come to the conditioner now, which is undoubtedly wins a hand up!

Dove Split end rescue conditioner: This conditioner is something I really like. It smells good and after using this, hair felt softer and smoother not limy but with body. The conditioner as compared to the corresponding shampoo is very good and served the purpose well. Muahhh.. :D

I apply it after I washed my hair (well everyone does that in the same manner:P) and then I squeeze out the water from the hair, take some of the conditioner in my palm and concentrating on the ends, I work my way up towards the roots but don’t smear my roots with the hair conditioners as it can weight them down and hair looks rather flat once they are dried. I then I tie my hair in a bun, if you can’t tie your hair in a bun you can use a plastic wide toothed clutcher to secure the  bun, this way the conditioner works better and after 2-3 minutes I rinse off.
What made me like this product is that it controls the fly aways and as I said hair is softer and smoother. And this is why we use conditioners!!!! Isn’t it?
I guess it should work well for dry hair as well if not the very dry types.

Rating for Dove split end rescue conditioner- I will give it 4.25 out of 5

Take- I liked this Dove split end rescue shampoo and conditioner range as I was not expecting that the split ends wala claim to be 100% true as I find these very similar to their hair fall range or any other dove shampoo and conditioner range!  Apart from that they are affordable and do work well especially the conditioner, so, You can consider to try this range.
If you are interested in Sulphate free range then you can give it a miss!!
