Vaadi herbals hand and Body lotion with sunflower extracts review

Vaadi hand and Body lotion with sunflower extracts

Hi everyone!!
I will review this body lotion from vaadi herbals with sunflower extract and a yummylicious smell that reminds me of butterscotch. I got this a weak ago and as I have used it a since then so it’s a good time to review. Err.. and also this is being the only one saved in my drafts and I have to go and do some other work!!

It comes for 54 INR for 110 ml and 350 ml for 155 INR

About the product: The perfect therapy to make & keep your body skin soft, supple & glowing. Sunflower is an excellent emollient, allowing the skin to keep moisturized by enhancing its water retention. Fig, on the other being a natural humectant, helps hydrate the skin by helping it absorb moisture ability. Together with their rich mineral content they make your body skin softer, smoother & healthy.

My Experience: This hand and body lotion comes in a bright yellow and white packaging with a flip top which is a little loose in the one that I have received from the brand. The actual product is cream colored with yellow hints and has a medium consistency.

My experience so far with vaadi products have been okayish as they are decent for the price except for few but I must say that this sunflower and fig body lotion is one decent product that can be tried for sure and you won’t be disappointed as it has a great smell that doesn’t seem to be artificial at all and a formula that provides adequate moisture to the skin.
While using this I realize that it is more on the greasier side so it can be a pretty good and value for money product for dry skin. A little of this goes a long way, thanks it its greasiness or moisture content. My feet are very dry as compared with the rest of my body and I am extremely satisfied the way it hydrates the thirsty crows.
I apply it only once after the shower and that's it! It takes care of my dry areas quite well! yaay!!
check how it looks:

Below you may see that my skin was a little.. just a little dry. :D but after applying this, it looks shiny and hydrated.

I checked but on the pack and online they have not mentioned complete list of ingredients only the kept or active ingredients are listed! Arghh again!!
Anyways! after the vaadi herbals handmade soaps, this is the products I liked! :D
Pros and cons of Vaadi herbals hand and Body lotion
Pros:
  • Easily available online, not sure about offline availability. Have you seen these??
  • Inexpensive and quantity given is fine.
  • Packaging is decent and user friendly except for the loose cap, maybe it’s with this piece only..:/
  • Smells really good, not over powering or artificial smelling.
  • Has the goodness of sunflower, shea butter and fig extracts.
  • Very hydrating and moisturizing
  • Fared well as a hand and body lotion
  • Need not to reapply frequently unless you have very dry skin even in summers.:D
Cons:
  • List of ingredients not mentioned anywhere.
  • little bit is fine, else you will just keep on rubbing it .:D well it isn't a con actually!!
Rating: 4.5 out of 5

My take: Give this Vaadi herbals hand and body lotion a try if you are looking for a decent and inexpensive body lotion. It actually does a good job in moisturizing and hydrating the skin without smelling artificial at all.

  3. I hate it when they list only the key ingredients or the active ingredients. My mom uses Patanjali products and they have each and every ingredient listed, even the preservatives used!

  8. I end up using body lotion on face cause my skin is too dry and face moisturizer feel very light. What would be the best moisturizer for dry facial skin?

    1. Body lotions aren't meant for face but I can understand you have dry skin may be that why.
I wont call it bestbut you can try using Himalaya Herbals face moisturizing lotion or Cosmedic Lumi day lotion. hope fully, they will work.
