Fem herbals Crème Bleach Review and How to use

Fem herbals Crème Bleach Review

Last Saturday, I have used this Fem herbals crème bleach which I haven’t reviewed yet... so will do it today. I have used all the variants of Fem bleach and should say that they are really good for sensitive skin and fetch good results provided you take the precautionary measures.
Price: 44 INR for 15 g of product and it has a shelf life of 2 years. Well that’s not even important If you have bought the little trial pack which can be used only once. It is also available in large pack of 150 g.
About the product: Natural and safe, Fem Herbal Creme Bleach is a blend of nature’s best. This makes it especially suited for sensitive skin. It has 16 precious natural herbs like Keshar, Chandan, Lodhra etc. which make a proven ancient Ayurvedic formulation for fairness. This pack contains a pre-bleach and post-bleach cream.

Before using any bleach or this one. Please do remember few things :
  1. After mixing the Fem herbals cream Bleach and the herbal powder, apply immediately. Do not leave the remaining mixture for later. You should discard the unused mixture.
  2. During the bleaching, mild irritation or tingling is normal.
  3. Try not to use soaps after 5 hours of bleaching to make the effects last longer.
  4. For better results apply in the evening so that even if you have to go out, you won’t hit the sunlight.
  5. Do not apply after a hot bath and open pores can create sensitivity.
  6. Do not apply bleach near the eyes and eyebrows and also avoid applying it on cut and abrasions.
  7. Do not forget to do the patch test first on your hand or near the ear.

My Experience: I would say Fem is the first name I think of, when it comes to skin bleaching. Fem has introduced various variants to cater different needs and skin types. They have the apple, blue berry, rose and the gold bleach one. I have used all of them so far and reviews will be poured soon. :D
This Fem herbal bleach cream comes with two additional sub products. i.e. a pre bleach cream and a post cream bleach apart from the regular cream base and powder activator with a spatula.
To use this I cleansed my face first and then applied the pre cream bleach and gently massaged, until it vanished, but some greasiness will be there. Due to which I was skeptical to use it earlier. This pack is meant for a single use, still there is sufficient product to cover even the neck area. Our neck needs equal attention too.. Right??
While using the other variants, I use to put only 2 pinch of activator powder per scoopful of cream base but when I saw the instructions for this one, I realized that the entire powder has to be mixed with cream base given as the powder contains some herbals extracts too due to which couple of pinches will not be enough to bleach those facial hair.
Empty the entire container into cream base!!

I always apply my bleach with my finger in little circular motions to cover the entire face and leaving the area that you should avoid bleaching. :D  Below I am putting pictures of the small instruction booklet or manual that comes with this. It tells how to mix, what quantities to take and the duration for which you have to keep it, depending on your complexion.

I kept it for 15 minutes and then wiped it off with a face towel followed by washing the face with plain water.
Then, I applied the post cream bleach which again made my face greasy so, I had to wash my face again and then pat dry. I think the post cream will be good for normal to dry skin as it is meant for radiant glow but I don’t want that greasy glow on my face. :D
Now, After I was done with my bleaching session, I noticed my skin was clean as it has lightened the facial hair. Bleaches can also remove tan, as I wasn’t tanned before that day so can’t say about that. But I agree, they do remove tanning up to some extent.!!
Overall, I liked it and satisfied with the experience that I had with this herbal cream bleach from Fem.
I will have to see and notice how long the effect lasts with this variant from fem. I will update that soon by adding  more info here.

Pros and Cons of Fem Herbals Bleach Cream
Pros:
  • It is easily available online and offline.
  • Affordable price as per the quantity
  • Herbal cream bleach that will suit sensitive skin as well
  • I haven’t faced any allergies, redness or rashes with this.
  • This pack is sufficient enough for a single use
  • The cream container can be used as a bowl to mix the cream and activator powder.
  • It comes with a spatula that helps in application, if you want but I use my fingers to apply it.
  • It contains herbals extracts which are good as I could notice a glow and no redness at all and I will give them the credit for it.
Cons:
  • The post cream bleach is greasy so may not be useful for oily or combination skin types but can be used by dry to normal skin people.
  • Apart from that I could not find any other con with this bleach.

Rating: 4.5 out of 5

My take: Sensitive skin people looking for bleach for face should consider it, as it is affordable, easily available and safe to use.  I would call it great product of all skin types.
For precaution dont forget to do the patch test, if you are a first time user.

  13. Why do gorgeous Indian women feel the need to use skin bleach? Your skin tones are absolutely beautiful as they are. Is it some kind of fashion to use bleach? Is fair skin considered better looking?

    1. Hello, Actually, this bleach is to temporary lighten facial hair to make them less visible so that skin a looks even toned. It doesn't bleach skin.:)
