Lakme Deep Pore Cleansing Milk Review

Lakme Deep Pore Cleansing Milk
Hi everyone!
Today’s product for review would be Lakme fundamentals deep pore cleansing milk or cleanser. I am sure this product does not need any introduction at least for readers from Indian origin. This is from their fundamentals range. Cleansing milk is the basic product when it comes to skin care and cleansing.

I have lost count as of how many times I have used it then went to some other brand and then came back to this.
In fact this was the first cleansing milk that I have used, when i was in high school.
Price: This Lakme deep pore cleansing milk comes at 60 INR for 60 ml which is the smallest size that you can buy for trial.

My experience: I have used this cleansing milk from lakme fundamentals earlier as well so many times. It comes in long slender tube with a flip top cap that is sturdy enough not to let it drain out. The bottle is pale peachy in color, earlier it used to be baby pink but now they have changed the packaging. I liked this packaging a lot as it looks good and is very travel friendly.
The cleansing milk resembles a body lotion in consistency and the texture. It is creamy white in color.

To use it you have to take some on cotton ball, then gently I circular motions clean the face and then with a clean cotton pad, take off the excess cleansing milk from the face or you can simple wash your face and pat dry.
Once, I use this I noticed that there is some greasiness left even after wiping it off with a clean cotton, but then that was not the same after some time. This cleanser has a very mild fragrance and has not irritated me so far.
With this cleansing milk you can get rid of the lipsticks, some smudged kohl and possibly the non waterproof makeup but do not try to use it to take off the water proof makeup, it won’t rather it is not made for that. Try bi phased makeup remover instead to remove your eye makeup.

Lakme Deep Pore Cleansing Review
Lets sum up the pros and cons:
Pros of Lakme Deep Pore Cleansing Milk:
  • It is easily available.
  • Inexpensive and travel friendly sturdy packaging.
  • Cleans the skin properly
  • Takes off dirt and grime
  • Has not break me out yet
  • Creamy consistency allows it to seep into the skin contours.
  • Good for normal to dry skin.
Cons of Lakme Deep Pore Cleansing Milk:
  • Oily skin people may feel a bit oily after wiping it so, using damp clean cotton, after you have cleaned with this which takes off the excess greasy residue.
  • It has Parabens
Rating: 4 out of 5
My Take: Great and inexpensive cleansing milk which does take off the dirt and grime from the face properly, though cannot remove water proof make up. Ideal for normal to dry skin.

    2. Thank you .:)
Did you check this one at Medplusbeauty.com. I just checked it is available there. the one you are talking about is for normal to dry skin and has avocado extracts.
You can try this, and if you feel a little greasy after cleansing with the new one then, wash off with plain water and pat dry.
      Hope it helps.:)
