Lakme Eyeconic Kajal - Review, swatches and EOTD

Guest post by Preeti
hello all,
Lakme Eyeconic has created such buzz in the market that it is impossible for you to have not heard of it. Kajal is a must have in the vanity case of all Indian women. Most of us proudly possess our favorite kajals but still we make it a point to try the new kajal that enters the marketJ. Lakme has recently launched its Eyeconic kajal and mascara for contemporary women in the price range that does not break the bank. I recently bought this from Snapdeal.com so if you are still contemplating to buy it; here is quick review to answer most of your queries.

Price – Rs 199
Quantity –0.35 gms

Lakme Eyeconic kajal is jet black in colour and easy to apply. It is a smudge-free kajal with good pigmentation that stays on for good 10 hours. The kajal gives a bold definition to the eyes by making them visibly bigger and vivider. It comes in a slim container which is easy to carry. It is a dermatologist-tested product and is harmless for your eyes. It can be used on both upper and the lower eye lash. It can be removed completely only with the help of a makeup remover. A great addition to the vanity case.

Indian women are blessed with gorgeous deep set eyes and to help highlight this feature, Lakme has launched LakmeEyeconic – a revolutionary range consisting of kajal and mascara. The new EyeconicKajal by Lakme is literally iconic as all you need is one swipe of kajal and it lasts for 10 hours. The product is waterproof, it doesn’t smudge and it is even safe for the eyes since it is dermatologist tested.

My Experience-I have a fetish for kajals and I am very particular about them being absolutely smudge free. After all, who likes a face smeared by the blackness of the kohl? I have tried kajals from Maybelline, Oriflame and L’Oreal in both stick and gel forms. Eyeconic Kajal is an exciting product. In a way, it is Lakme’s answer to Maybelline’s Colossal kajal. One swipe of the kajal and you are done for your day in office. Though priced a little high than Colossalkajal, it is much softer and stays on for more time. However, both the kajals are the same when it comes to pigmentation and consistency. It is very convenient to use it on the upper lash line as it glides easily. You can make your favorite cat eye look easily with this kajal.
This is how it looks:
Pros
  • Easy to use
  • Smooth texture
  • Lasts really long
  • Dermatologically tested
  • Stylish and easy to carry packaging
  • Easily available, especially online
  • Affordable
Cons
  • Tough job to remove completely even with make-up remover
My Take- If you are looking out to experiment with your kajal, LakmeEyeconic can be your best buy. I will surely repurchase it, but may not replace it with Colossal completely.
