Let’s
Test the L'Oreal Paris Mat Magique All-In-One Pressed Powder’s SPF 34 PA+++
Hi girls!!
When I got the Press release for the L'Oreal Paris Mat Magique All-In-One
Pressed Powder, I was
really excited to try this out for 2 reasons, one is that this is really an
affordable powder by L’Oreal Paris that can be tried by a lot of girls even the
girls on budget. Secondly the SPF 34 PA+++, I don’t remember if I have ever
used a pressed powder with that much SPF. I mean foundation can have up to SPF 30
that I have used and reviewed but SPF 34 in this is quite interesting. This compact is available at Nykaa.com here. http://goo.gl/DiJXPu
So,
in this post let's test this powder on only the SPF aspect. I will be doing a
detailed review of these compact powders after a couple of days. But in today’s
post. I will be sharing how this compact has fared in sun.
Okay,
let’s start the testing demo. This is my bare arm whne there is no tan or any product.
So, to test
it what I have done, I applied the shade no N 6 which is Nude Honey, this is the
shade that matches my skin complexion the most and blends in seamlessly.
The areas that I have shown in the box, is the place
where I have dabbed this compact powder, I have applied this just like I use
this on my face like in dabbing and pressing motion, not like putting a lot of
product which make that part of the skin looks lighter anyways even before the test
has started.
I have
applied this powder as you can see in the second image.
Now, it was
time to go and get some sun rays. Yeah, it was like, I am sun bathing which one
would love to do during winters but in summers, very sweaty thing to do.
But I had to test and
finally sun has shown up well after so many days when I did this test. As these days weather in Delhi is cloudy or
gloomy due to rains which has given some relief from the hot
weather. Anyways,
So, after
applying this powder I sat in there for around 35-40 minutes.
I get tanned
easily and the tan gets fade off too really quickly as well but tanning starts after some time not immediately Therefore, after I spent considerable
time, I think I was there for 35 minutes. I could notice the skin where the powder was applied was slightly lighter
than the rest of the skin where nothing was there. Or in other words, the rest
of the skin got tanned but the area where the powder was used was the same as it was.
The SPF 34 in it will protect the skin, so using it daily will help a lot in shielding the skin from sun damage.
Therefore, the
test was successful, as you can see in the last picture the result is there which
is noticeable.
I am happy with this particular feature of the product as most of the times, I tend to skip sunscreens, so over the BB creams (which have SPF for around 20 - 25) using this Compact with SPF 34 PA+++ would be even better, considering my skin is oily and compact powders can help a lot in keeping the skin matte. This will give an extra
layer of protection.
So, L'Oreal Paris Mat Magique All-In-One Pressed Powder has
passed the Sun protection test. But how about the texture of this product. Does it blend well or how long this keeps the skin matte? For all that, I will be sharing a detailed review on this product in a couple of days.
So, stay tuned for that dearies. :)
