Maybelline Baby Lips Spiced Up Lip Balm in Berry Sherbet and Spicy Cinnamon Review

Maybelline Baby Lips Spiced Up Lip Balm in Berry Sherbet and Spicy Cinnamon
Hi Girls,
You may have seen the new Spiced up baby Lips Lip balms ads where the 3 shades have been launched by Maybelline India. I have got 2 shades with me Berry sherbet and Spicy Cinnamon. Maybelline baby lips have never failed to impress me with their quality and the way they are available in colored and colorless versions. These Maybelline Baby Lips Spiced Up Lip balms are formulated with deep colors for Indian skin tones which is really good as I find such colors to be more natural on majority of Indian skin colors.

Price of Maybelline Baby Lips Spiced Up Lip balms: They are 175 rupees each and 3 shades are there in this range.

Brand claims: Maybelline Baby Lips Spiced Up Lip balm with SPF 20 have lip smacking colors that pack a punch of flavors. These tantalizing flavors are specially created to suit Indian preferences with the deep shades for sun kissed Indian Skin tones. It is formulated with coconut oil, Vitamin E and SPF 20 that moisturizes the lips for 12 hours with SPF 20 sun protection.

Experience with Maybelline Baby Lips Spiced Up Lip balm Berry Sherbet

The lip balm comes packed in the same manner that all the baby lips are packaged. Berry sherbet is a deep reddish brown colored balm with a cherry fruity like flavor which is irresistible.I have to swatch it 2-3 times to get a beautiful translucent berry color on the lips. I liked that if I need just a faint wash of color with moisture I can swipe just once and when I go out I can swipe more for the extra color and for the sun protection. I have observed this with a lot of lip balms that they will give tint but doesn’t give hydration for a long time but these lip balms have kept my lips hydrated or 4-5 hours which is really good as then I can reapply as required.

Experience with Maybelline Baby Lips Spiced Up Lip balm Spicy Cinnamon
Spicy Cinnamon is a more like translucent medium brown color which will look great on dusky girls as it gives a very natural color with moisturization. Both these lip balms can be tried by all the skin complexions though if you go by the colors. For the hydration purpose, I find them very good. The SPF 20 is much needed in lip balms these days as lips too are prone to sun damage and darkening especially when lips are peeling, flaky or dry.

Price is okay for these spiced up lip balms but for some it can be slightly high as compared with the other lip balms from baby lips range.

Rating: 4 out of 5

Take: If you have had enough of the pink and orange colored tinted lip balms and would like to give your lips a hint of deep berry or rich brown hues along with good moisturization, then these Maybelline Baby Lips Spiced Up Lip balms are worth trying.
PR Sample: My views are unbiased as always!!

  6. Oh how amazing! That's great that they made these just for the Indian market! I actually would love to buy Cinnamon! Such a gorgeous brown shade and I'm sure these two are much more suited to tanner Indian skin tones too!
