Mirenesse Face Blur Powder Review and Swatches

Mirenesse Face Blur Powder Review and Swatches
Hi everyone!
I will review this Mirenesse face blur Powder today, this is a powder created to give an air brush finish to the face. It’s more like a translucent powder and the first time, I touched it the product literally made my fingers slip off my face. So, what exactly the Mirenesse Face Blur Powder does? Is it worth splurging? Let’s find out.

Mirenesse Face Blur Powder
Mirenesse face blur Powder is priced at 1600 Rupees, approximately and I got this from Luxola.com

Experience with Mirenesse Face Blur Powder
Mirenesse face blur Powder comes in a packaging that you may have seen with some other translucent powders like The oriflame translucent powder that I had used long ago. I am not sure if that product is still continued. The powder has a lower plastic container with a lid that bears tiny holes through which the powder can be taken out. The same space is also dedicated for keeping the sponge applicator. Sponge tip applicator is extreme smooth and soft.

The face blur powder is a pale pinkish powder with an extremely fine texture which is very satiny. This powder also acts as setting powder that should be used after the foundation application to further fill any lines and pores which also supposedly gives an airbrush finish. This same step will also absorb any excess oils on the face.

I like to apply the powder with a flat topped foundation brush rather than the cutesy tiny applicator as the applicator is something, I don’t feel comfortable applying this product.
My face really felt extremely satiny and slippery. By that I mean, when I touched my face after using this face blur power my fingers slip. Yeah, it makes the face that much slippery. I also noticed that it works well for the oily skin but the area of my face which are dry, the powder looked slightly chalky and dusty. Hence, I think the powder is not for the dry skin at all as I have seen the same dryness a couple of times after using this.

So, apart from the satiny feel, I do feel that it gives an airbrush finish on the face but nothing extremely good. I remember when I used this product for the first time months ago, I was flattered but honestly not now, I can do very well without it. It is good but nothing that I will recommend you to get this.

Moreover, the packaging doesn’t allow me to take this product with me in my bag as the holes that are there will take the product spill all over the upper lid and the sponge will be overloaded with the product which really makes me cringe. Thus, I use it, only at home and that too with a brush.

Rating: 3 out of 5

Take: Mirenesse face blur powder is a decent translucent powder that helps to make the skin flawless to certain extent. Packaging could have been more user friendly. The powder is suitable for oily skin while for dry skin it will only add on to the dryness.

PR Sample: My views are unbiased as always!!

  1. I've been trying out some loose powders and I can't believe how some super fine silky ones really work on my slightly oily skin. That's too bad that it doesn't work out perfectly as we'd like! If only it would work well over the slightly dryer areas! The texture looks so great!
