Tresemme Split Remedy Shampoo and Conditioner Review

Hey everyone!
I will be reviewing these Tresemme Split Remedy shampoo and conditioner today though I haven’t used them myself but one of my close acquaintances used them so, I will be actually sharing that person’s views. I liked Tresemme hair fall defense shampoo that I used ages ago.The split remedy range was launched before the spa rejuvenation range, that I will be reviewing soon. By the way, I like the way Tresemme sends the samples. Isn't that nicely packaging in that cute slider box.

Tresemme Split Remedy Shampoo:
Tresemme Splits Remedy shampoo comes in the regular tight flip top cap packaging that we have seen in the other shampoos and conditioners’ packaging from Tresemme. The shampoo is a creamy, milky white rather thick shampoo that lathers quite decently and cleanses the hair thoroughly but it dries out the hair slightly therefore, it’s not a shampoo for dry hair for which hydration is the main requirement/expectation from their shampoos. Scalp feels light and no such feeling that there is some product still on it.
As it says that it reduces the split ends but sadly, there was nothing like that. It has not shown any results in that due to which it works just like the other Tresemme shampoos.

Tresemme Split Remedy Conditioner:
Tresemme Split Remedy conditioner is creamy and has bit of foamy consistency. It does hydrate the hair well and adds a mild fragrance even after the hair is being rinsed out. But again it doesn’t show any noticeable results in the split ends combined with the shampoo.
This range is more like an average range that doesn’t do what is being claimed i.e. to cure the split ends and other that that it has a slight drying effect even after using the corresponding hair conditioner.

Therefore, this isn’t a range that I will recommend to dry damaged hair though if you’ve oily hair or scalp then you may try it once to check how it works. The bottles are quite huge, so will last for 2 months probably.

Rating: 2.75 out of 5

Take: Tresemme Split Remedy range is an average range, nothing extremely good or as per the claims but can be tried, if you wish. But not when you have dry damaged hair.

  1. Tresemme products in India doesn't work too well for me. Only their Spa line worked wonders. You might give that a try.
