Himalaya Herbals Oil Clear Mud Face Pack Review

Hey everyone!

I am still struggling with the connectivity due to which I may not be active in replying to the comments or other things but that doesn’t mean I will not post reviews for you. :D Here’s one for today then! A scheduled post! I like face packs and prefer homemade ones but you really can’t go prepare one when you don’t have the time or any of the ingredients. Those times, I rely on the ready made face packs and most of my face packs are from Himalaya herbals. I will review their new variant Oil clear Mud face pack.

When you have combination to oily skin, then ingredients like Neem, Fuller’s earth, sandalwood helps a lot and this face pack here contains Fuller’s earth, walnut and Mineral Clay.

Himalaya Herbals Oil Clear Mud Face Pack Review
Himalaya Herbals Oil Clear Mud Face Pack

Price: Himalaya Herbals Oil Clear Mud Face Pack is priced at 70 Rupees. Quite inexpensive!! Yaay!

Ingredients: Check the images

Views: Himalaya Herbals Oil Clear face pack contains Mineral clay, walnut along with Fuller’s earth. Tube packaging makes it easy and hygienic to use and at the same time makes it travel friendly. Won’t leak or anything!

The product has a medium consistency neither too thick nor liquidy. When the face pack is really thick then before applying you need to splash some water to wet your face so, that the pack can spread well forming an even layer but since it has a medium consistency, it can be applied directly on the face.

I take some on the finger tips and in circular motion would spread on the entire face and would squeeze out more, if needed. It gives this burning tingling sensation which I can say is a bit more than the regular face packs like this I have used! The burning will go away within 3-4 minutes. So, you need to bear that for a while.

After leaving it for 15- 20 minutes, I will splash my face with some water and rather than washing it off, I would massage it over my face since it has got walnut shell particles that exfoliates the skin gently, which is why I will not wash it off straight away but I noticed that the density of walnut particles isn’t high so, it cannot give the same exfoliation as you would get with the products formulated specifically to do the same.

Himalaya Herbals Oil Clear Mud Face Pack Ingredients

After I am done with the rinsing, patting and drying my face. My First impression. It doesn’t make the face stretchy or dry around my nose or forehead which can happen with a lot of clay packs but not with this. Face looks brighter as excess oils will be removed so does the dead skin cells.

Himalaya Herbals Oil Clear Mud Face Pack

Like most of the other face packs the effects will not last for more than a day but still I would recommend it to keep the excess oil and impurities in check for combination to oily skin especially for teenagers or college goers who are mostly on a budget and have frequent skin problems in the form of pimples and whiteheads on skin, blackheads etc.

  5. I'm glad you've founds some effect with this! The only types of clay masks I like to use must be very pasty and thick, I can't stand very liquid formulas as I've had very bad experiences with those! Thanks for reviewing!
