another review day!! Today I’ll be reviewing an eye product which is a Custom
eyes shadow & liner Palette by Revlon
in the shade Beach Beauty. I
ordered this product as a replacement for the damaged and broken‘NYX - Single
Eye Shadow’ from Nykaa.com . Let me tell you all I had a worst experience with
online cosmetic store ‘Nykaa’. I ordered 2 NYX single eye shadows one in the
shade ‘skin’ and other one in ‘taupe’, when I received the delivery, I was very
excited as it was my first ever online makeup purchase therefore, I opened it
with lot of excitement but what I found was a broken NYX eye shadow (taupe)
box with a tape glued from inside. That was very clever!!! They replaced the
product for me with this Revlon one (after paying remaining cost for Revlon palette).
They also charged for shipping but this time they should have delivered me for
free as I never asked for a damaged product that was delivered to me in the first
place! Pathetic service and no authenticity! Anyways!

Custom Eye shadow Palette is priced at Rupees 695 in India. This range comes in
6 different shades.

Brand claims: Easily
create and customize the eyemakeup look you want with 4 shadows and 1 eyeliner in Revlon Custom Eye shadow Palettes. For
dramatic eye popping looks like never before! The dual ended applicator helps
you to easily create the eye looks you want. Use the wider side to cover the
eye area in shadow and the pointed end to apply the eyeliner shade. There is a
very fine shimmer in all the shadows, which gives them a nice satiny look.
Packaging: Revlon
Custom Eye Shadow and Liner come in a plastic palette box with a sponge
applicator (black). It has a tight cover and can be carried in a purse while
travelling.
Experience
with the product: When I ordered this eye shadow, I had total
two shades in the range to choose from – Smoky
Sexy and Beach Beauty. So I
chose Beach Beauty as I found the
shades to be more neutral and subtle. It comes in 5 palette box and except sky blue
and grey all the remaining 3 shades are shimmery. When I swatched it for first time
on my hand, I realized that all the colors are well pigmented. In this palette
black is a liner, white is a highlighter whereas remaining 3 shades can be used
as eye shadows or lid colors. One can create a nice smoky look from this palette.
It has a good wear time and pretty long lasting.

Product
Quality & Texture:I
found some shades quite chalky but as a whole quality and formula of the
product is nice. It gently glides on eye lids and can be blended very well. If
I talk about the applicator, it’s of cheap quality hence can’t be used more
than twice!! I use this palette with my Colorbar eye shadow brush which gives
an easy application and nice finish.

Take: One can find many good and affordable options under 700 rupees so,
if you can find some better options with good quality then you may skip this!!
But if the budget allows, you can definitely give it a try. It is a decent
palette. I personally won’t mind looking for some other eye shadow range!
