I bought this Bourjois Liner Feutre Soft Felt Tip Eyeliner pen one few weeks ago and you may have seen that in my haul post as well. I have already used it a number of times. Now, it’s the right time to review this eye liner.

To apply, line the roots of the lashes after make-up application.”

Packaging: It comes in a sleek pen like tube which is very light weight and looks very classy. The brand name is embossed on the lower part of the body with silver colour. The lid clicks shut tightly and the cap is quite sturdy and travel friendly. The tip is little longer which further makes it very easy to work with.

My Thoughts: This is a very easy to use eye liner pen which is easy to use. I really like how intense and black it is. Pigmentation is superb as it is opaque in one stroke which is quite impressive. It has long pointy felt tip which makes application super quick and precise. The staying power is superb. It lasts all day on my eye lids without smudging or flaking and used this eyeliner on my waterline which does not irritate my eyes. It is very good for beginners. It is expensive yet effective. The felt tip is really soft .It goes smoothly on the eyelids. You can have a lot more control when creating your flick/wing.  It gives you the choice on having a thin cat flick or you can build up the thickness to whatever you desire. It gives subtle sheen to your eyes and will make eyes look more attractive. I didn’t experience any irritation or allergy. This is a pen so is like drawing anything in your skin without any mess or excess. The finish is very jet black, not patchy and with a glossy look.

Formula is not as watery as other liquid liners so it dries fairly quickly in comparison. As you can see on hand swatches, it’s very pigmented. A great tool to use if you have a steady hand; just like drawing with crayon back in primary school! The only problem that I can think of is that the pen has slightly dried after using a couple of times. For this you have to rub it back and forth on hand. It does not smell strong. It is for those who don’t like liquid eyeliner. It is smudge proof but not waterproof. As when I removed or tried to take it off with makeup remover it smudges all over the eyes like if I compare with my Rimmel London scandal eyeliner.

Tip: It does dry, for this you need to keep it cover all the time with lid. If it starts to drag or dry, just pop the cap back on and shake the product a little and leave it for a minute. The fluid doesn’t take long to soak back up into the tip.
