After lusting for the Sleek Makeup products, I finally laid my hands on 2 products that I had in my wish list for the last few months. Even though Sleek eye shadow palettes are undoubtedly their best selling products. I decided to buy Sleek Blush and Face contoured kit, skipping the eye shadow palettes, reason being my self imposed ban these days. So, no more eye shadows as of now, but that doesn’t mean I will not try. I would soon, but as of now, I am looking the other way!
Before jumping on the product description and sharing the excitement of getting new makeup. Let me start with the experience first so, that all those of you who wish to get Sleek products can get an overall idea about the shipping, delivery etc.
Earlier Sleek used to charge $3 or $4 for the order but currently, they are charging less than a dollar per product. I get to know this while making the payment. I bought these two products, Sleek Blush in Coral and the very popular Sleek face contouring kit, for both of them I paid $1.75 something. This price is for the shipping method that is untracked whereas if you are adamant to get the tracking number then you can go for the other shipping option for which you will be charged around $16.
My order wasn’t huge that’s why I had the leverage of taking the risk to go for the untracked method. I will suggest that you can buy one or two products at a time through this untracked method, in case you want to save on the shipping charges.
For payments, you can pay them through Credits cards. I placed my order on 31st January and it came by Royal Air mail on 10th or 11 January which means it took around 10 calendar days and around 7 business days which is fine as you are not paying much for the shipping.
By the way, as I said it was delivered through Royal air mail, I haven’t paid any custom charges. Just the price of the product and the shipping charges. Last time, I placed an order with iherbs.com which was delivered via DHL and we had to pay custom charges. I think these post/mail methods are duty fee free.
The products were inside an envelope that was lined with bubble wrap and for extra safety they have further wrapped the products inside a bubble pouch. Along with the products there was an invoice that had the details of the order and other information.
My products were safe and very neatly packed as If they have been bought from the store in person, though condition of your parcel and the products depend a lot on your area specific delivery and handling guys but from Sleek’s end they have made sure everything was safely packed and shipped.
Now, coming to the products I bought.
Sleek Face contour kit: Sleek face contour kit has garnered a lot of attention and love from the people who have used it across the globe and this is what made me buy this product, apart from the fact that I was in dire need of a good contouring highlighting palette/kit. It is available in 3 shades light, medium and dark. I chose light. Rest of the details, I will share in the individual review and swatch post. So, Stay tuned for that!!
Sleek Blush In Coral: Sleek offers around more than 10 blushes out of which I picked up Coral, Coral being a universal shade with warm hues suits Indian Skin tones beautifully. Used it and loved it. It’s such a beautiful color that I am literally all over it!
