I will review an amazing product today that has become my current love. Why? You will get to know in the post later. Now, who will not want a clear, smooth and unwanted hair free skin. There are so many ways you can tackle those tiny unwanted things like waxing, razors, threading etc. I am going to review Braun Silk Epil 7 SE7951 which is a complete system that can give you a skin spa with not only epilation but exfoliation as well.

This is going to be a picture heavy post and I am all excited to show you this thing. I wanted to use and test it thoroughly before doing a review and now that I am fully satisfied, I am all set to show you this product and how it works.

Before that let me tell you what Epilators are?

They are basically electronic machines that removes unwanted body hair by pulling them out from the root just like waxing but doesn’t pull the skin with same pressure the way waxing does. Here is some pain associated with epilators too which is less as compared with waxing.

Experience- I am someone who doesn’t like to spend hours in salons or parlours mainly because I don’t have the time to visit and sit there. in anyways, I am more of a Do it yourself kind of a person, you may be already knowing that I do my brows myself but these tiny hairs on my face and body used to annoy me as when ever you step out of home, or there is a major event/function, I worry about those unwanted hair but with this product trust me, my problem is solved.

It has become my convenient home spa or I should say something on that I could rely on it and relax. Now, I don’t have to worry about going to professionals, I can easily do it myself within minutes. Sounds like an advertisement!! haha but I am so loving it! Couldn't help!!

The base of the kit has a great finishing with sturdy high quality material with on and off button and a light to assist you while using this. The – and + lights are indicators of the battery when it’s charging, the light turns yellow and red when it is about to discharge. Below it, there is a socket where you need to plug in the charger and charge it. It’s better to keep it charged so that you may use it when needed.

So, this device has basically three different attachments that can be taken on and off with the help of a button at the back. The very upper portion of each attachment also detaches so that you can clean it.

1- Epilator head- This is the epilator head that actually pulls off your hair as small as 0.5 mm. Now that’s incredible since while I go for waxing those tiny hairs can not be taken off by that. The epilator should be used in opposite direction of he hair growth so make it work effectively.

I was a bit scared while using this epilator for the first time since when you turn the power on, the light turns on and the epilator makes a Zzrrrrrrr sound which made me a bit uncomfortable. It wasn’t that I was taking off my facial hair for the first time but the sound made me conscious. I touched it on my chin and immediately pulled it back, there was this tingling with slight pain, then I tried it again. this time I was much more relaxed and got used to it. After, I was done with one side of my face, I was extremely surprised by the efficiency as it actually removed the tiniest of hairs and the pain that I had on the first time was reduced drastically when I used it on the other cheek. Trust me! It has made the process so much easier, hassle free and convenient.

I was done with my entire face within 10-15 minutes, even when I was using any such thing for the first time and loved the way it works on the upper lip area. My skin looked radiant as there were no facial hairs and a lot smoother. It’s pivoting head made it easier to use around the contours of my  face and body.

My mum who has never used any such thing apart from threading. I asked her to use this and she immediately refused. Finally she did, when I convinced her and now, she can't stop saying how impressed she is with this device and it's easily to operate modes.

This epilator can be used on face,  body, bikini line and is very safe to use. The  two caps that you see in the pictures are for delicate areas like bikini area and face and as per your convenience.

2. Shaver- Shaver is the second attachment, designed for those who wants to shave and it much easier to use than the razor, giving more close shave.

It can be used both dry and wet as they have mentioned and the battery life is one an hour.  

Shaver also comes with a trimmer cap that is to trim the hair to a particular length. My brother, has used that already and just like the regular shavers it works great and the trimmer cap gives you an option to trim. I gave him to use this since I wanted this to be used by him too which will help my review to be as accurate but I don't think I amgoing to let him touch this anymore. In anyways, He already has his electronic trimmer with him.

By the way, due to hygiene issues, these things should not be shared and if you do, make sure you clean them properly.

3. Exfoliation-  The exfoliation kit has further three attachments. The exfoliation brush head and the brush itself and the brush transparent cap with holes in it. This is again something which I really like. Now, you might have seen the face exfoliation brushes that you use with your hands but this is very different as the brush is extremely soft even for the sensitive skin and has 3000 micro vibrations/ minute which you may not feel when it’s working on the face but actually gives 4 times more exfoliation as compared with when you do it manually. It can be a great tool for oily, black head prone skin to keep the sin clean.

Once, I am done, I use the tiny brush that comes along to dust of any hairs on the head of the attachments and then put it under running water to clean them properly.

After they are dried keep it in the pouch that comes along.

I used the epilator on my face, a night before this makeup look. You can see my cheeks and skin looks free from hair and radiant:

By the way, I will advise you to use this at night as there can be some redness that will subside the next morning.

I am extremely satisfied with this product and will highly recommend this epilator.

If you think you don’t want those many attachments but still wants the epilator part then Bruan also has only the epilator that comes at cheaper price like Silk Epil 2, 3 etc though getting the entire kit can save a lot of money that we spend with professionals.
