Day time shimmery Eye makeup with winged liner Tutorial

Day time shimmer eye makeup with winged liner: Step by step tutorial

Hi everyone!!
Merry Christmas to you once again!!

I will share this eye makeup on this Christmas day! which isn’t too dramatic or difficult to do. All you will need is a shimmer shadow. Yup!! Just one shadow, as it’s a day time look. It's subtle and yet creates an effect suitable for the cold winter days. No matter what color your eyes are, we in anyways have mostly darker eye colors like black or brown. This look will look great with every eye color. If you are a beginner in eye makeup then this can be a very basic look to try.

I would like to ask once thing here, when you think of sporting an eyelook, how many of you actually think of using multiple colors. Honestly, I am someone, who would use just a single color for the day time makeup look followed with an eyeliner! And if I don’t want to use eyeliner, I will use a kohl pencil and line my eyes, which I smudge later, for a soft smokey look. I think going dramatic on the eyes should be best left for night time makeup. Isn't it?

Anyways, here we go with the steps!

1. I applied the eye shadow base, for that I used Maybelline BB stick here to hide the pigmentation on my lids.
2. I used a shimmery champagne colored eye shadow on the lids up to the brow bone. You may use any light shadow that you wish, even a peachy gold toned, if you wish to keep the look a bit warmer as per the complexion.
3. I used a white eye pencil on my waterline. Here I would suggest, if you have fair skin tone then use a white pencil, for medium skin tone, use a flesh colored pencil. If you are dusky then don’t use anything  as pencils that are lighter to your skin complexion may not look good on the waterline.
4. Then, I used the same pencil on the inner corner of my eyes making a V shape, dabbing it with my ring finger lightly so that it gets blended, but not too much!
5. I applied the gel eyeliner in a slight winged manner. You may use any you are comfortable with.
6. I used the same shimmery pearly color on the lower lid or below the waterline, followed by 2 coats of mascara.

Wasn’t that very easy and suitable for winter day time look. This will go with every outfit. Mild shimmery shadow on the lids gives a winter feel. If you want to convert it to night time makeup look, then add some glitters (more chunky particles than shimmery and pearly shadows) on the lids, with some dark grey or black eye shadow below the waterline.
