Pink smokey eyes makeup tutorial and tips

Pink smokey eyes makeup tips and tutorial, step by step

Hi everyone!! Happy Sunday!
You may have noticed my absence yesterday. It was due to some planned prior commitments: D. a busy day but something a bit more important than my blog and for me my blog is way too important, So, you can think how important the other thing would have been!! you know what I mean! :D

Actually it was this eye makeup tutorial that I wanted to share with you, which I will be doing it right here, right now.

Before that, Thank you for appreciating the previous post and my new camera..Muaahh (it’s for you not for the camera, I have already given it a peck, while I was in a state of excitement)!!
It’s a smokey eye makeup done with pink eye shadow as the main color and these pictures are of the same day when I did 4 looks at a go! Phew. With my old camera. I am still surprised that it was (was… No.. it is!! I mean it still is in good health and only an year old) an inexpensive camera which takes great close up shots.. Not only mine but for the product reviews as it gives really clear images and is extremely easy to focus and capture!!
Anyways, let’s proceed with the steps and as usual I will try my best to describe and explain the steps as detailed as possible, if still you don’t get it please refer to the images.  (It sounds like textbook diagrams and then their explanation.D)

Step -1 Okay then, first step woud be as usual, yup! You get it right, prime your eyelids and apply some loose powder so that it can help dusting off any fall outs and you get clean under eye area. And also primers make the eye shadows stick longer, increases their pigmentation, staying power and it wont let them crease..now that’s something very important as creasing eye shadow can look unflattering and patchy!! You better prime then dearies!!
Fill in your brows if required. I don’t do them regularly  in person, but when I am clicking pictures for a tutorial, I religiously do it whether, it for eye makeup, eye makeup product review or to show you a new pair of contact lenses and etc etc. reason being my eye brows are of medium thickness or rather full with few spots but when we take up close shots, say like 3-4 inches away only, even a tiny spot magnifies. Apart from that, filling the brows is something that also defines your eyes and eye makeup. So, If you haven’t given thoughts about doing it earlier, think again!!!

Step 2- I applied a hot pink matte eye shadow on the eye lids with an eye shadow brush. preferably a flat one, so that it can pack the color with full intensity.

Step 3- I used another shade of pink a lighter one so that it can be blended upwards and can create a gradient, but I think, by mistake I chose a very lighter one which was right next to the one I wanted, but it’s okay as these tiny differences no one’s going to notice when you are actually wearing the looks, no one’s going to examine that so closely. I also blended it upwards so as to get rid of harsh edges.  I used Sigma E25 blending brush for that. Loved that brush!

Step 4- I used a grey matte shadow on the crease only not on the outer V and instead of a black as that could be a little harsh, or we could have used brown as well. If I would have used purple then I think black would compliment better. What you say??

Step 5- Here I missed one step, but you see clearly, I have applied the same pink on the lower lashline and liquid eyeliner. I thought to give my all time favorite eyeliner Maybelline gel, a break for some time and used this liquid one from streetwear for a change.

Step 6- I applied mascara and some matte highlighter on the brow bone and it’s  done.
