8 Eye makeup tips and tricks that can be helpful

Hello everyone!!

Today, In this post I will be sharing some of the eye makeup tips that I have learnt so far and some tricks that can make a difference in your eye makeup.
Here they are-

Primers- I have always thought primers are just an added product but after some time, I realized how important they can be in order to prevent eye shadow from creasing. Most of the matte eye shadows are low in staying power and intensity so when you use primers they make them more pigmented and improve staying power. So, say yes to primers from now onwards!!

Loose powder- Imagine you have had your flawless foundation and now, you are up for the eye makeup, the shadows you are using are pearly or full of shimmers and as soon as you put it on your lids some of it fall on the under eye area or the glitter particles trapped in your eyelashes ruin your whole look!! You will be really annoyed! Isn’t it?
Especially, if you are running late. So, to avoid this take some loose powder in a brush and apply it generously under the eyes and once you are done with the eye makeup. Just take an angled brush or any big fluffy powder brush and dust it off. There will not be anything. You can see in my latest looks how this has helped me achieve a cleaner under eye area. I don’t need concealer thanks to (Cosmedic eye rescue lotion) but if you need, use concealer after the eye makeup once you dusted off the loose powder.

Define your brows- Unless you are blessed with thick eye brows, you should think about filling them up! No, I am not asking you to fill them too heavily that don’t suit you or look artificial. Try filling them very lightly, that isn’t too obvious but looks natural.

Highlight the browbone- This is the best trick that can come to your rescue, if you do not have a prominent brow bone. You can use a matte white eye shadow to highlight the brow bone for the day time and a shimmer champagne kind of color for the night makeup. Though don’t just go with the words, check what suits you the best dearies!! :D
Things should go with your personal choice and preferences.

Pat to blend- This is what I have learnt while trying to blend the colors together. Whenever you want to blend two colors then I think the easiest way would be to pat. First put the colors in an overlapping manner. I mean the intersection point should be where the two colors should overlap and gently pat that area and within seconds it will blend and create a third intermediate color as sometimes when we try to do in a to and fro motion then the colors may get patchy!

Open your eyes with a curler- Eyelash curlers can curl your lashes and thereby open up your eyes, if you have deep set eyes then make curlers your best friend! But Beware and don’t pinch your skin with that.

Long lashes- For longer lashes always try to start applying mascara from the ends of the lashes not from the roots first. Try putting two coats from the ends of the eye lashes, it gives lengthening effect and then the third coat you can just wiggle your wand sideways on the roots and then take it all the way up till the end.
Starting from the roots, gives a thickening effect. This technique ensures lesser clumping and both thicker and longer lashes.

White pencil- If you have pigmented lids and the colors don’t show off properly due to that then try using a creamy white matte eye pencil. I think most of you will be already aware of it!
Using a white or skin colored base hides the pigmentation which can be green, blue, red etc and also makes the colors look more beautiful.

You can see diagram for parts of eyes in terms with eye makeup.

So that was it!! I will update if I find some more and hopefully these eye makeup tips and tricks will be helpful for you!

Do share your tips too!!
