Neutral Brown Indian Eye Makeup Tutorial and minor variations

Neutral Brown Indian Eye Makeup Tutorial

Hi all!!

Today, I will share this look which is very neutral, wearable Indian traditional makeup types. For this I have used, Copper, browns and blacks basically!
Here is how it looks like:

It was a look (I did ages ago before blogging at a function) which I wanted to share even if it’s very simple or nothing special as this is the eye makeup which I think is not only easy but wearable too especially with our Indian traditional outfits that has even a little of gold detailing. Well! This is what I think! .:D

For this I have not used the 120 eye shadow palette except for the white shadow, but only two colors one is from Tips and toes eyeshadow quadwhich is a very beautiful berry gold color. I am in love with this color. It’s just fantastic for our skin tones!
Below are the steps, How I did it:
Step 1: I have used my Colorbar concealer and faces primer already. I also filled in my brows too.
Step 2: I have used this berry gold color on the entire lid.
Step 3 & 4: I took colorbar spicey brown and applied it over the crease and blended it gently.
Step 5: I applied a little black shadow on the outer V just to define it a bit more as my eyes are not deep seated. I also applied a gold shimmer shadow on the centre of the lid, to highlight and illuminate the area.
Step 6: I applied my favorite Maybelline gel liner in black extending it a little outwards
Step 7: I have used the same color on underneath the lower lashline. I do this as I don’t used kohls on my waterline!
Step 8: I finished it with 2 coats of Clinique mascara and some white eye shadow on the browbone.

I have taken pictures with flash as when I don’t use flash then the colors look faded! but due to that even the contacts look so bright which isn't the case!!

Now, here I modified the look a little bit by making the liner bold and quite thick. And here is how it looks like. I think bold liner looks better.:D

These are the products used!

I also changed my liner colors by topping some eyeshadows over the black liner and you may see that it does look like as if a colored liner has been used! I did this just to experiment myself and see how some tweaks can change the entire look which you can go with as per the occasion.

  16. Wow, so many creative variations of a single look and you call it a hurried post! :) I liked the thin liner more and in the last pics, I was surprised to read you created this eyeliner color using eye shadow on gel liner! Now that's very new. How did it set since the gel liner would have dried by then? Jst curious how the color settled on the liner it's looking so pretty <3

    1. Thank you Gagan.:) I mean, I was in hurry while writing the post so there may be typos or other errors! :)
Thats what I was thinking how come the powder shadow stayed on the already dried gel liner as I just patted the powder! But the good this is, even if some power shadow wears off then also it wont look patchy, with the black base!
      Glad you liked dear!

    2. Wow, that's a discovery then :) But I really liked how the minor variations changed the look. Niesha, that copperish lip gloss like packing, is that the primer?

    3. he he.. may be not as whenever we do something our self and think that we are the first one, they while browsing we see something similar somewhere..lol .. it happened when I made a bag out of my old jeans and scarf, jewellery or bracelets.:D

    1. These are from Freshlook Colorblends and the color is Gemstone green though you may try only green as well! They cost around 800 INR and also depends from where are you purchasing from. If you are a first time buyer try and visit a store, they will help you!
      Thanks!
