Hi Lovely ladies!!
Hope you had checked out my haul post of Rimmel, Maybelline and MUA products last week. Here, and as promised I am back with the review of Maybelline color show Polka dots collection first since most of you wanted to see the swatches. I have got 3 of them in the 3 for 2 offers, where in you buy 3 and pay for only two of them.
Maybelline Color Show says: Formula with a transparent gel base, giving a fierce fashion finish!
You will love this range of nail polish because it’s inspired by the runway giving trends and colours direct from the catwalk. The colour is bold and crisp due to the formula’s transparent gel-base. Color Show brings you instant seasonal updates to your fingertips.
Quantity: 7 ml
Price: £2.99 (around 250 each)
These are the three colors that I had bought:
200 RAIN FOREST CANOPY
198 SHOOTING STARS
201 SPECKLED PINK
Packaging: Sleek, classy, sturdy and travel friendly. The brand name Maybelline colour Show Polka Dots embossed on the lid with silver colour. The dots on the lid indicate the round n hexagon glitters in it. The white sticker pasted on the body of nail polish shows the colour number and name with the place of manufacture being Poland.
Experience: This collection of 4 colours is for glitter lovers, which definitely includes me.:D! The glitters are jelly based; consist of two sizes of matte white and black which are hexagonal and also tiny matte white and black dots.
The Limited edition Colour Show Polka Dots collection has been launched in UK in May although they haven’t been launched there in India yet. The polish is quite sheer; you can wear these on their own or can layer them on a similar base colour or on a contrasting colour, to really make them pop.
Description of shade:
Maybelline Color Show Polka dots in Rain Forest Canopy: It’s a teal green with black and white glitters of different sizes. Three coats will give full coverage and the great positive I found is that it quick drying. First coat will only spread the glitters on some parts but with the second and third coat the glitter will spread all over the nails. It looks gorgeous and I loved it.
Maybelline Color Show Polka dots in Speckled Pink: It is very beautiful glittery pink colour, very girly and feminine. It can be apply its own or applied on a base of same colour. Three coats give full coverage, as I mentioned earlier. I love polka dot stuff and glitter polishes with pink being my favourite.
Maybelline Color Show Polka dots in Shooting Stars: It is very pretty dark blue colour. The glitters are more visible in it than the other shades. Can be built up easily and it dries really quickly. It Looks pretty and very bright shade as compare with the other two. Perfect for summer!!
Texture: Full of glitters and jelly like. Brush is very thin; need to apply 3 times to get full coverage.
