2 Summer face packs with Mint and Cucumber

Two face packs for this summer

Hi all,

Summers means skin darkening, rashes, open pores etc. This summer pamper your skin with these two soothing and brightening face masks for oily skin that is prone to acne.  These face packs/masks are simple and easy to use for every age group.

Below are two packs you should try this season and rejuvenate your skin:

Mint Summer face Pack

Mint has a soothing and cooling effect on the skin and at the same time it is an effective cleanser that deep cleans and instantly brightens up the complexion. It is extremely useful for acne prone oily skin.

To make this pack all we have to do is to take mint leaves and crush them  into a fine paste. Then you may dilute it with some Rose water and then apply it on the face with gentle massaging and leave for at least 15-20 minutes.  Wash it off with plain with cool water. Skin feels relaxed and calm.

Multani and Cucumber Summer face pack

Take a cucumber and put it in the juicer to extract the juice out of it. In 3 teaspoonful of cucumber extract mix one and half tea spoonful of Multani mitti or Fullers earth. Make paste of medium consistency (you may change the proportion) and then apply it with the help of either your fingers or spatula. Let it dry and wash off with plain water.

Fuller’s earth is known to absorb excess oil from skin that is oily and prone to acne and cucumber juice tones and cleanses the skin, there by helps in preventingacne or pimples too. It also closes the open pores though temporarily!

There are so many packs and masks available in the market but when you try and make them at home, you will not only save money but they are also chemical and parabens free.

Try these easy summer face packs and your skin will thank you!! Bye then and I am not going to try the second one.

  10. I have oily skin and have found mint leaves paste to be a great face pack in the summer. It feels ultra cool and refreshing. For the body, I use parachute summer fresh body lotion after I found out that as soon as you apply it on the skin, your skin tingles and feels cool.
