Lotus Herbals Colour Dew Nail Enamel in Cherry Crush

Lotus Herbals Colour Dew Nail Enamel in Cherry Crush

Hello Friends!!

This nail paint from Lotus Herbals was the latest addition to my nail paint collection.
And I must admit that Lotus herbals nail paints are my latest love.. ..When it comes to polishes Of course.:D..

This is the first time I have used any from this brand. If you remember, I got three of these and thank fully I did not wasted my money as they turned out to be fab and worth it!!, at least for me.
They are priced at 110 INR for 8 ml of the product and this price tag makes them fall in the categories of Maybelline Colorama, Lakme, Colorbar nail lacquer and also Faces Canada nail paint but the mini ones. They are very affordable just like the above mentioned brands.

This one that I have on my nails right now is Cherry Crush. I think that doesn’t look like an appropriate name for this shade. As this shade is more like a warm brown, the kind of shade that you get when you mix a portion of red in a medium toned brown color.
Very fine shimmer, makes it even more eyeball grabbing,.
And yes, this color seems like custom made for Indian skin tones. No matter what skin color you have it looks so very gorgeous and not to forget its fine shimmery/glossy finish makes it worth pairing it with a traditional Indian wear with little gold detailing.
It’s formula is very opaque and 2 coats are enough for this creamy, thick polish to deliver an extremely smooth and even finish.

It’s the third day that its still on my nails without any signs of remarkable chipping. Though top coats can ensure and make it last even longer.
Their bottles are more in height then width. I like it’s metallic grey handle which is elongated just like we have seen in Maybelline Hyper glossy liner bottles.
Well!! This shape can actually make the application more controlled.
Brush is good enough to carry sufficient amount and fluffy enough to give a wide/ decent stoke which further prevents patchiness.
You can see the nail swatches below and I have used flash for some to show the shimmery finish.

It says it is toluene and DBP (Dibutyl pthalate)free. Toluene is a hydrocarbon with acts as a solvent and generally as paint diluter. So, if you have a sensitive nose then they are for you. I have checked all three of them and they do not smell much or rather badly.

Rating: 5 on 5

My Take: If you are looking for creamy, opaque nail paint with decent price and strong smell is a major issue for you then they can be worth trying as they are not only toluene free but has great formula with a good brush that can deliver beautiful smooth finish.
In short worth the money spent!! :D
