Home Made Scrubs for face

Home Made Scrubs for face
Exfoliation is the easiest step to renew and unmask the smooth skin by removing the outer dead skin. There are lots of exfoliators such as facial scrubs available in the market. But how about saving some money while trying some of these homemade natural facial scrubs. It takes a little time to prepare them and they do not come in fancy packaging but the kind of effect that they give with the assurance that there are no harmful ingredients, is just worth the effort you put while preparing and using them.
Here are two home made scrubs that can be mild and gentle even for the sensitive skin:

Sugar and honey: Take some finely granuled sugar and honey. Mix both of them well. Honey is quite thick so as not to dissolve the sugar granules completely till the time you are lightly massaging your face in gentle circular motions. Honey is a well know humectant (it retains moisture) that hydrates and nourishes the skin. If you have dull dry, flaky skin, then this is the best natural homemade scrub for you as it will gently remove the flaky dead skin and also will nourish your dry skin. Make sure the sugar granules should not be very large as they might cause rashes.

Baking Soda: Take some baking soda and mix it with adequate water to make a paste, the consistency should not be too thick or too runny. It should be consistent enough so as to let the product move on the skin with massaging in upward circular motions. This facial scrub is ideal for sensitive skin as the baking soda granules are suitable enough to exfoliate gently. It can be a good everyday gentle scrub for oily skin or a daily scrub for those parts of the face that are more likely to have whiteheads or blackheads.

Try these are revealing the smooth skin inside and get glowing!!
Will bring some more delicious fruit scrubs next time.

  14. Wow Niesha, I want to try the baking soda exfoliation scrub. I have a question about the honey one. Does it wash off easily? I mean usually honey leaves that sticky feeling on my skin.

    1. I use the baking soda one on the whiteheads prone area only and the honey one is my favorite with sugar as scrub or without as a pack. I agree Gagan, It feels sticky so i splash my face with water first, so as to make the honey on the face dilute and then rub it off and rinsing with water completely.
