Hello,
Maybelline Diamond Glow Eyeshadow Lilac Mauve is a quad that gives you bright and gorgeous eyes instantly. This beautiful quad consists beautiful colours—silver, pink, lavender and purple. I bought the product for evening outings and parties.

My experience
This quad is perfect if you want to get all dolled up for a party or special evening outing. The four shades of the eye shadow, dark purple, light purple, peachy brown, pearly silver are full of shimmer. The Dark Purple shade is the darkest in the quad and has purple and blue color shimmers. It is perfect to create a purple smoky look. The light purple colour is exotic lilac shade with delicate mauve-colored shimmers. Peachy brown shade is a muted shade, best to create depth in your eye makeup. It also has a hidden shade of lavender to it. The Pearly Silver shade is a creamy shade having silver shimmers and is perfect for highlighting purposes. All the four eye shadow shades have a prominent silver shimmer to them. The eye shadow shades have soft and have creamy texture. They are easy to apply and blend on the lids. However, on oily lids the colour might settle within the creases. On my lids, it happened an hour after the application.
Here are the swatches Swatches.

Pros of Maybelline Diamond Glow Eye shadow Lilac Mauve
  • Silky and soft
  • Enhancesthe eyes and gives them a shimmery look
  • The shimmer is delicate and not chunky
  • Highly pigmented
  • Affordable and easily available.
Cons
  • You might feel the need of a matt shade to tone down all that shimmer
  • The colour might settle in the creases of oily lids
Rating:- 3.5 out of 5
My Take:- Maybelline Diamond Glow Eyeshadow Lilac Mauve is a decent eye shadow quad with shades that will appeal to the girls the most.

  1. They look fun and shimmery but at least in the swatch photo, I find them quite similar! I'd prefer if they looked more different, I'm sure a primer helps!

    1. Sure Sharlynn, a primer will surely accentuate their distinct hues. They are not that similar, trust me :)

    1. The swatch is just single application. One can increase pigmentation with multiple coats.

  8. I have different colours palette and I like it so much! :) But I have to say that I always use eye primer before applying eyeshadows.

  9. I like the shades but for some reason I was never tempted to try any. They look too small for the price :)
