Maybelline Colorama in Paixao Review, swatches and NOTD

Maybelline Colorama in Paixao Review, swatches and NOTD
Hello Dearies!
I am feeling red these days, as in nail paints. Orange fever is over for me and after reds I am planning to buy a couple of plums and purples.
I recently bought this Maybelline Colorama in Paixao which is a pretty cheery cherry red color so, It will be a short review cum swatch post, moreover, I am feeling really lazy and tired of all the shopping that I have done in the past few days and the ones that are still pending and yes.. not to forget the "ghar ki safai" as maid needs rest too and she has a family to celebrate with as well. :D

I have this habit of taking most of the pictures in one go and then peacefully write the review or descriptions.Errr.. due to this you may see some of the most bizzare grammatical or typos..I do apologize for that..:)
Okay, lets get back to its details.

Price- 100 INR for 8ml

My experience- This color is a very pretty and deep shade named Paixao, which in Portuguese means passion, if I am correct. wow passion.. I love this passion!!
This is my nail swatch and how it looks on me.

It is a cherry red glossy finish shade that looks fantastic regardless of the complexion. You may get the good intense rich color in a single or two coats. Till now it's my favorite color. The flawless and patch less finish it gives is worth mentioning.
It is chip resistant for about 2 days however that can be enhanced by applying a top coat. Some of you may feel that Maybelline colorama chips soon. But This better that the others when it comes to chipping.

I do not do anything extra, just apply some olive oil at night.
I am about to chop them since the index finger nail has cracks on both the sides.:)

  7. I do agree that Maybelline Colorama needs to be applied in 2-3 coats but the positive side definitely being that it doesn't feel heavy or cake-y on the nails. This shade is seeming a must-have for sure. Thank you for stopping by my blog and for your lovely comment. I am glad you liked my post. Please do visit me again :)

  11. This is a beautiful red which does not spear into the eyes. Looked darker in the bottle but very pretty on your nails. I have a polo neck in exactly the same shade :)
