Colorbar I-Define Eye pencil in Indigo-005 Review and Swatches

Guest post By Akanksha

Hi Everyone

Today I am going to review the eye pencil…my recent and first love of makeup these days. I did not use any makeup other than lipsticks earlier but after exploring this site I have started using eye pencils...I got three eye pencils of Faces and I am in love with them. Some days back I purchased Colorbar’s I-define eye pencil from an online shopping site and thought to share its review with all of you.

What the company claims: Rich in color and silky smooth, the I Define Eye Pencil gives color to the eyes in one stroke. Smudge proof and waterproof, it does not feather or bleed. Available in matte and pearly finish, it gives the eyes a flat or frosted look and lasting up to 24 hours.

My Experience: I have to apply 2-3 strokes of it to get the color. When applied the color does not show up as pure indigo color but yes it brightens up the face. The finish is matte and not creamy. It does not smudge and is waterproof but if you rub it after putting water on the eyes it will fade otherwise the staying power is 6-7 hours. It comes off easily with any cleanser or makeup remover. If the pencil is sharpened properly then it glides smoothly on the lids.

Pros of Colorbar I-Define Eye pencil in Indigo:
  • Waterproof
  • Does not smudge
  • Color indicator at the end of the pencil
  • Does not break on the lids
  • Color does not sting
  • Glides smoothly
  • Brightens the face
Cons of Colorbar I-Define Eye pencil in Indigo:
  • Can be expensive
  • Not pure indigo color
My take: Nice color which does not smudges  and glides smoothly, however can be a bit pricey. I guess I – Glide pencils are much better.

  4. It sounds pretty good. I don't usually use blue on my eyes, but it's good for a change.

  5. Hmmm I have yet to find a pencil liner that lasts a long time. I think the only thing that lasts is liquid liner.
