No matter what our skin color is,
but still we want a complexion which is flawless, that doesn’t have blemishes
or scars which can be a result of acne, blackheads, whiteheads etc.
Most of us must have been struggling to get rid of these scars or blemishes at
some point in our lives except for those who are blessed with a natural
flawless complexion.
I have gathered some tried and
tested remedies that we can use to reduce and get rid of scars, blemishes and
even pigmentation.
You might have also come across these tips on the internet over and over. But these are not just tips that I have read from somewhere and posted here. I myself have been and is using them religiously and these natural products have proved that they can give you a better skin without spending a fortune on costly products which doesn’t mean that I do not use creams and lotions but my inclination is more towards the natural and herbal stuffs.

So, here they are-
Cut a tomato slice and rub it
gently all across your face in light circular motions. Leave for about 20 mins
and rinse with plain water. Tomatoes have lycopene and is known as one of the
most powerful antioxidants
that can fight free radicals which may lead to premature wrinkles, acne,
discoloration or pigmentation etc. They are also rich in vitamin C and hence
can prove beneficial in brightening the skin.
Mix
honey with multani millti (fuller’s earth). Make a consistent paste and apply
evenly all over your face. Let it dry and wait for minimum 15 minutes and then
rinse your face with plain water. Honey
is known to be a natural anti-inflammatory and antioxidant which makes skin
soft, supple and glowing. Moreover, it has skin lightening properties as well.
I like to do this a lot as I have pigmentation on my jawline, though my overall
face color is fair and also to treat the scarring due to occasional pimples on
my face.
Take half teaspoon of fresh lemon juice and mix this with half teaspoon of honey or tomato juice. Apply it using circular motion and massage for 1-2 minutes using your fingertips with giving a gentle pressure. Let it sit on your face for 20 minutes and then rinse with plain water. You might see some redness, but its okay it will be gone in a couple of minutes. I do this at night and my skin pigmentation is greatly reduced and my skin has also been better.
Take a potato and cut thin slices
out of it. Put them on the affected area for about 15-20 minutes. Rinse with
plain water. You can also grate the potato and extract the juice out of it and
apply it on the affected areas or on your entire face. I personally love this
and leave it overnight. Potatoes are well known for their properties to reduce
pigmentation and skin lightening.
Skin Exfoliation is the one of the major
steps in get a flawless and healthy skin. Exfoliation means removal of the
outer dead skin which in turns reveal the underlying new skin thereby the
reducing acne marks and blemishes. Scrubbing is one of the basic method to
exfoliate your skin at home. First cleanse your face and then using a good
facial srub gently massage in circular motion with your fingertips giving light
pressure. It is really important to moisturize your skin after exfoliation no
matter what the skin type is.
Exfoliation can be done twice or thrice a week depending on the skin type however those who have sensitive skin, once a week will be sufficient and we should always keep in mind that we should never over exfoliate otherwise our delicate facial skin can be irritated. You can also exfoliate your lips to make them smooth.

The tips that I have shared with you
have worked well for me and I do them alternately, however the results may vary
from person to person depending on the type of skin, climatic conditions etc.

DeleteI personally like to apply potato juice on the areas with blemishes. it works really well. and even i had whiteheads and a little warm honey can help for that.
Make sure to apply moisturizer once you rinse the potato juice since it makes the skin a little dry but not to worry abt it though.
Hope it helps.:)
